That was actually pretty cool to listen to, because it really brings up cultural differences as well. I've used "sick" before as an adjective and heard it used that way as well, and it's just kind of funny to think in Korea the equivalent would be "pickled" of all things. LOL! His English wasn't that bad either and the reason for teaching the swear words is a good one - so you'll know it when you hear it. I wish my French teachers had been as accommodating back in HS. |
