That was terrifying. Rogue waves are spooky as hell.

That's nuts. The entire series itself is really good and they go through some crazy shit to catch crab.

I remember one episode of Deadliest Catch where a fisherman went overboard and they rescued him. Some emotional fucking TV; everyone was crying on board and I almost cried too. The dude almost died on camera.  ACK!

Being on the press list for GDC isn't all it's cracked up to be. My mailbox gets flooded with spam from every last Ukranian inventor with a new peripheral that's going to CHANGE THE WAY YOU GAME, and every East Belorussian studio with an astounding, earth-shattering upcoming MMORTSFPGBBQYARR.

Sometimes you get something special and cool.

Tonight was not one of those times. Tonight was one of the times where you get... fuck it, read the press release.

Quote from: PWP Press Release
Greetings and Salutations Lords and Ladies,

Pansy Warrior Princess will be onsite IN THE FLESH AND IN FULL BODY ARMOR this week at the Game Developer's Conference.  I will be in search of gamers and media to discuss all things gaming for my weekly Internet show.

Who is Pansy Warrior Princess, you ask? Well, it's me! (I am deeply saddened you had to ask.) Check me out at www.pansywarriorprincess.com.   My weekly show is a one-stop shop for anyone interested in video games and medieval whatnot.  I review games with intelligence, colorful graphics and plenty of snarky humor.

Check out my Top 10 lists, past episodes, and request an autographed photo! Please feel free to contact me at pansy@pansywarriorprincess.com if you would like to cross paths at GDC this week.  I hope to run into you on the show floor!

Huzzah!!

Pansy Warrior Princess

I went to the site expecting something either awesome, for real or ACK!. It's neither, unfortunately, because it's done so damn earnestly. It's... Like Yahtzee. Only not funny and in plastic LARP body armor. Sad Panda.

I wouldn't want to offend yahtzee by comparing some fat unfunny broad to the comedic nuggets he shits out weekly.

Also, fuck her for bitching about the ranged part of heavenly sword, controlling the arrows and cannonballs with the sixaxis was by far the best part of that game.

Do us all a favor and kick her square in the cooter at GDC Yoru.  Hard.  Then set her on fire.

While I agree with just about everything you said there Nerf, fuck the sniping levels in Heavenly Sword.  I found them unplayable.  In fact, the one where you cover the guy on the bridge made me quit playing the game.

It made me turn sixaxis control off.  Which is fine - if you let me turn it off I'll try it, and if it sucks I'll just use the sticks.

Heavenly Sword isn't in your genre of games though, there is no turn based strategy and engrossing 80 hour storyline.  I found the part of the game you're referring to laughably easy, some people are just better at playing twitch games than others.

For the record I found the missle bits welcome relief to the boring and uninspired monotony of the rest of the game, you can't make subpar games of this genre after God of War and the new Ninja Gaidens.

QFT. This chick is unfunny. On the Mario Galaxy review, she spends like 2 minutes talking about the game and 10 minutes bitching about Valentine's Day.

Slow... time?  No, I think I missed that part.  And Ooki, are you kidding me?  I love a good action game, my suckage at twitch games where your aiming reticle sways randomly while you're trying to hit super-tiny targets aside.

IIRC, you hold down the fire button, and then you can control the arrows/cannonballs in midair using the six axis, it is fucking AWESOME.

Yeah, the sword combat is pretty fucking meh, but controlling the arrows and cannonballs with the sixaxis is *awesome*, someone needs to make a game with nothing but that, I'd fucking buy it in a heartbeat.

I always used to try and give him the benefit of the doubt, he's just really nice and happy and bouncy....until I saw that. There's really no more excuses for Richard.

I love Whose Line. But let's be fair: there's a ton of gay jokes on there all the time. Richard Simmons just threw it way over the top.  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

I miss the old John Stewart talk show. Originally on MTV, I used to catch it on Fox when I didn't have cable.

I'm just amazed at how much that Fed-ex guy looks like me.

Harrison Ford was funny too. That was quite the eclectic cast.
