I wonder where they're planning to go with that series? It's like the Pure Pwnage concept but they have a Buffy actress and therefore wider appeal and traffic from WoW boards will drive them to most-watched heights on YouTube.

You kind of miss the context of YouTube videos when using F13's popup player.

The funniest 12 seconds of your life. Guy in mask getting punched by some dude. Sauced just showed this to me but is too shy to be awesome and post it himself.

I saw a black dude do that to a guy in a halloween costume on funniest home videos once. Costume guy was pretending to be a dummy (heh) on the porch and the black dude was trick-o-treating. Costume guy tried to scare him and got punched in the face.

Those kind of scares work best on doughy middle class people. Folks who live with actual danger....probably not a good idea, the first reaction is to stun punch to the face to buy a second to assess the situation.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Ads incoming to youtube.  Doesn't sound as bad as forcing you to watch an ad before the video though.

The only problem I could see would be the center/QB exchange which you can't actually see in the video. If it was a legal snap, there is no penalty that I could see. That's some trickeration.

Any coach that puts in a trick play like that for midget football is a giant cock. I would KHTFO if I was the other coach.

That reminds me of a play my soccer team used to run when I was playing on a U14 club team.  Someone would go to take a corner kick and then say something like "hey, Scott, you come and take the kick".  The person while walking away from the corner kick put their foot on the ball when stepping over it and moves it a full rotation.  Scott goes to take the corner kick and instead dribbles the ball in for a closer pass or shot.  Granted it worked about as many times (not necessarily leads to a goal) as a ref would get confused and blow the play dead. One time the coach and two assistants got red carded arguing it.  I think they did it to piss off the refs more than they thought it would actually work.

Still, that football play there was just nefarious.  It's like a fumblerooski, without any of the class and without a fat guy lumbering towards the end zone.

Eh, that's football if you ask me. Utah is somewhat famous for running goofy shit like this so I have a soft spot for it. I've seen the QB step back and walk towards the sideline like he can't get the signal and they direct snap it to the back. The other one they do is if there is no nose guard, the entire team stays rock still while the center and QB run a sneak up the middle. They also used to run the "the duck" where they lined up with the center and QB in the middle of the field, all the lineman to one side all the way over to the sideline on one side and four receivers all the way over bunched together on the other sideline.

Sends a clear message to the team that they suck so badly they can't win conventionally. Good coaching.

Right.  I'm posting this here because it's a useless video but...

Here's a film I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBQeo9FOWow

I don't want to know whether you think it's a pile of cat crap or not because, frankly, you guys are brutal and this was just something I knocked together and I can't take that sort of criticism.

However:

I uploaded this to AtomUploads (the part of AtomFilms that is for the type of shit normally reserved for YouTube).  Tonight, on returning from the pub, I found this email from "yourfriend" at AtomUploads:

Quote
We have found that your clip violates one or more provisions of Section 4 of our Terms of Service, which states that users may not:

“…create a user name or screen name or upload to, distribute through or otherwise publish through the Site any Materials which are indecent, libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, harassing, contain expressions of hatred, bigotry, racism or pornography, or are otherwise objectionable, or that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or violate any law.”

WTF? Am I being blinkered?  Is my film objectionable on terms other than it being Not Very Good?  What have I missed in terms of potentially racist, bigotted, pornographic or otherwise offensive material?

(I realise I must be ver ver drunk indeed to even claim this video on this site but gods damn it, I NEED TO KNOW!)

EDIT: To the best of my knowledge, this film is perfectly Safe For Work.  Just in case you're keen and in work on a Saturday.

It will teach them that whenever the ball goes to the QB from the center that the play is live.
