I hadn't realized before that "The Safety Dance" has Morris dancers in it.  Awesome.

It seems that whoever collected those videos was just looking for a video by each band, but didn't necessarily look for the "best" one available.  There are several instances were I was thinking "why'd they pick that video instead of this one?"

Some are even't in the right era. Sonic Youth is basically an 80's band, but the site shows a video from the late 90's. Should have used this one. It's both their best and their oldest.

Their Slayer video has a bald headed Kerry King. That's not the 80's.

I'm sorry, but I found that completely unbearable. Shame because it's a good cause and all that.

The comments are funny, too, and inline with the video if you ask me:

Mostly not funny, but the image of Peewee holding the handfuls of snakes with the plane interior background is classic.

That's about the only way the movie could have been better.

I'm having bad 80s flashbacks. Remind me of all the kids playing guitar when my band was first starting out.

This is how you play a classical piece on guitar. Not as cheezy metal :)

If you liked the original British version of The Office there are two Microsoft training videos out starring Ricky Gervais.  They might be taken down soon, youtube has already pulled them at Microsoft's request.

Training video one.

Training video two.

I didn't think they were particularly good, but there you go.

Edit: I mean for as far as corporate training videos go they were absolutely amazing, in relation to the series they weren't as funny.  Still entertaining though.

Hey, ma! Look at MEEEE!!!

Had a patron (my blues bud Jim Wolf) who wanted to put some stuff on YouTube, so I ran a test with a little test piece from my camera (I think I linked to it before here). It's pretty useless! It was filmed at xmas time, I don't keep a tree in my living room, not that there's anything wrong with that.
