Some of the videos on the guys site are pretty cool - the video scratching is impressive (On one of the other videos). I'm with HaemishM - I dug it. And I agree - I'm tempted to buy the song on itunes. The hampster was funny too. |

French Rap is hilarious! Sometimes I turn on MuchMusic (Ghetto MTV) when they play it for a quick laugh. As for us producing good rap, well, that's the first I've seen. Maestro Fresh West makes me cry. Who the hell sings about actual area codes? Sean Paul isn't so bad if you don't mind the whole reggae thing. Kardinal Offishall came out with a few OK songs. Nothing great. You'll hear most unknown canadian (c)rap groups say they're "underground." This is only because they suck greatly. Plus, you can't gangster rap when the only "9" you've had a hold of is change from your monopoly like currency. |

Edit: Having some time on my hands, I was able to hunt down a version of the clip I can access. It is from a rather famous german one hit wonder called "Djingis Kahn" (sp?). From the 70's or early 80's if I remember correct. The text translates to something like ...  "Moscow, Moscor, throw your glasses to the wall ... russia is a beautifull country Ja lala lala Moscow, Moscow your soul is so big at night there is crazy shit happening (literarily: the devil is out there = Ja lala lala Moscow, Moscow love is like caviar with this you will become 100 years old ... Ja lala lala"  And yes, it does not make much sense in german either, but at least it rhymes |

Yeah, I actually kind of like the song....in the same way watching accidents is fun. BTW, the group is Ghengis Khan, spelled in German, with an extra letter (somewhere). I hear they're big in Japan.
