Today at 12:00 PM PST, we will be opening four new realms for all players to start fresh adventures in Azeroth! Players will be able to create new characters immediately with a choice of three realm types: PvP, PvE and RP.

    * Duskwood - PvE
    * Zuluhed - PvP
    * Anetheron - PvP
    * Steamwheedle Cartel - RP PvE

Just a heads up, I'll probably roll a warlock on one of the PvP servers, horde unless someone convinces me otherwise.

Im a little burnt out on WoW right now, and im having a great time learning EVE. Not sure how long it will last me, but so far its like a breath of fresh air to me. It really requires thinking, not just clicking.

I will probably wait till they release a new RP-PVP server to make a new guy. If I do.

So...umm....I decided to roll on ED again. Troll Rogue inherits old toon's gold. Name is Rojin.

If any of you logs in even once in a while, put me on your friend's list. Better yet, invite me to Severence.

Except he wasn't called Shockeye, because that was my fruity little pink haired Gnome rogue. Nobody (not least I) stuck around long enough for my plan of PK movies to come to fruition. I just deleted him last night to roll an Orc.

So you deleted and made an Orc on ED, or you deleted in order to make space for an Orc elsewhere?

I too am part of the one-time ED guild diaspora.

Hordeside:

Geiss 45 Orc Hunter
Griefing 22 UD Rogue
Fogcatcher 22 Cow Druid

Tragny, Strazos, Hat, myself and a few others used to roll around together pretty consistantly, was pretty fun.  Send me an IM or post up here or whatever with what you all would like to do, or need help with.  I have been rolling alts on various servers just passing time, since playing solo gets get O L D.

PS - Damnit I was the one and only member of Severance for awhile, but I think Tragny or someone persuaded me into disbanding the ol' wreck and try and join some other goober guild on server that they jumped ship to.  So close to being the shotcaller.

Mad Lootaz

We need more. Roll a rogue. It's all rogue. And give him or her a silly Japanese name while you're at it.

[EDIT] As far as I know, I'm not serious.

P.S.

I popped in but did not see you online, Stray.  I'll toss you and Righ 100 gold to split.  Just let me know what a good time to meet you will be (I can meet up tonight).  Also, I can run you guys through SFK a few times to get you shiny blues.  The type of drops that can last 20+ levels before needing replaced.

Man, the graphics sure are pretty, especially after playing UO for a few weeks.  When I return to Diku I may have to do WoW.  Hopefully they fix BG's by then!

Wow, 100g. That's very cool of you. You should probably keep some of that just in case you come back or make an alt though.

Righ and I were talking about getting our cooking up soon (for tea), and that got me thinking that I should just dabble around with crafting a bit and slow down at 19 once I hit it. At least then, we could make a temporary twink guild or something. Then we could all BG for a little PvP fun. This way an F13 guild can succeed without everyone getting burned out too fast.

My guy is level 57, with oodles of herbalism, maxxed cooking, and all that good stuff.  I am keeping some gold for my eventual return.  My main game is UO (we are having fun!), but I love running SFK.  You guys figure out a good time and run it by me, and I will run you through it.  All you need to do is loot.  Its fun!

That'd be cool, man. I'm going to log in later and see if there are any prereqs for some of the SFK quests. I remember as an undead, there were some cool quest rewards.

Also, what might even be better (gearwise) is killing Van Cleef and Co. a dozen times. If I could get a full Defias set, that'd be sweet  tongue

Whatever you want.  But I only have x amount of time to give though, due to RL complications.  SFK has some kicking rad quests.

There are no prereqs for the three Horde SFK quests.  You can get two at the Sepulcher, and one in Undercity (by the stairs of one of those bridges that traverse the green slime ring at the bottom of Undercity).

Book of Ur, Lost Deathstalkers, and Arugal must die!  I think are the three.  You can get them all at level 18, might be able to get Book of Ur earlier.  I have a lot of alts...

Thanks Cheddar. We should be ready for SFK 'soon'. :)

Meanwhile, here are some names on this 'roleplay' server. Can you guess the role these people are playing?

Deathiscommi
Minihunter
Slylikebear
Wifeofconads
Bunnydeath
Monkeybite
Ufugger
Elffkilla
Ipconfig
Prophalactic

That's right. Good guess. :)

I'll probably wait for the expansion before I come back since I'll probably start a new character to see any new lower level content being added in.  Don't want to burn myself out on the game again before then since I've only recently wanted to start playing again.

Me and Righ's new rogues are 15, but I've been PM'ing him about the new servers that just came out this morning. I've been dabbling around and decided to roll Alliance on Lethon (same name, same class, different race -- "Rojin" - Human Rogue). Not sure if I'll stay, but this might be a cool thing. Fresh start, etc. (apparently, Lethon is on the new hardware/db config too, if that matters).

[edit]

Send a tell to Rojin or Nickers (Righ) if you want to play Alliance/Lethon

I have a level 15 orc rogue (Toizo) on ED. I played an hour or so on Lethon, but I'm not convinced yet. Signe is marginally interested in playing some WoW with us, but isn't taken by the idea of a PvP server.

Its WoW.  Besides, if I return you will have a pet 57 Rogue with you guys.  I cannot imagine how much higher the "Easy" lever gets.  Plus my buddy Ulose (47 warrior I think) and his brother a Huh Shaman.  So, yeah.  Tell her to stop being a woman and drop a sack.

Yeah, really you can level up to 20 pretty safely, and as long as you don't go to Hillsbrad or STV, you can get a lot of quests done without too much problem.  Plus you're safe in the instances as well.  I've never been a big PVPer, but I had fun running with MrHat and Palehorn doing some PVP outside the BG's every so often.  Fuck, I'll probably end up reinstalling tonight.  Think my Hunter Kelthoss on ED was somewhere in his early to mid-50's, and I tend to be pretty good at making cash (think I've got somewhere between 200-300g on him right now).

Hmm...

So no Lethon server then, eh?

Whereever we can get the most people at is cool with me. Velorath, if you decide to reinstall, see if you have guild invite powers in Severence. That way we can have a centralized place to communicate before we think of something else.

As far as I know, Severence is dead.  If needed I can start a new guild.  Problem is I will not be home until later tomorrow night.  Want me to start it now and get you guys admin rights? (not, this does not guarantee I will be playing!)

Totally cheesy, and probably taken, but for the server the name The Nightmare would be appropriate (the corrupt force in the Emerald Dream).
