Hmm...

So no Lethon server then, eh?

I wouldn't mind having some alliance characters there for a change of pace every once in a while.

Something's bugged with my guild charter. Got 9 sigs, but it won't let me register it for some reason. One of you should make a new one, and call it Bat Country.

I'm game for a pvp server.  I played a normal server and hated it.

Got a mage on Lethon (Merrilea) and I guess I'll make something on ED!  Mooooooooooo.

Cool, you disappeared earlier on the Priest. Thought you quit.

We're having problems making a guild on ED atm. For some reason, I can't register a charter. I think I'm bugged. I think Flood is going to try it next.

I want to play with Signe!

Try ED. I'd like to play Lethon, but it seems everyone else is better off here.

I'll be in a few. Will give you some starting gold.

I'm going to roll an Alliance alt on Lethon, but I have no idea what class yet.  Warrior or Pally maybe.  Always liked the Alliance starting areas so much more.

I'm making an undead priest on ED as I post this.

I'm counting on you guys to keep them off me in the BGs!

Righ was pointing out last night how it's pretty much the entire Western Continent in general that stinks. The Elf areas suck just as much as the Barrens, and the Undead areas are done just as well as the Dwarf or Human areas.

Anyways...I've never taken an Aliance character further than the Deadmines and Red Ridge level. I wouldn't mind seeing more. Right now I'm level 10, and off to Westfall. I'll hold up a bit for you though.

The Troll is 16, and still in the Barrens. The only reason I feel like playing him is that Trolls have a lot style -- Looking it all over though, it would seem that Trolls make the worst possible race for a Rogue.

Actually ive heard of several epicced out rogues who rerolled from troll to pick undead.  Apparently they felt no amount of gear could make up for the difference will of the forsaken makes for a rogue.  Priest and warlocks are our toughest match ups, being undead helps tremendously.

That relates to yesterday, before WotF was nerfed from godly to good, and Trolls were buffed from worthless to good. 10 energy for a 30% speed increase to attacks for 10s is nice. Now that WotF is 5s, its trivial to cast fear twice. Still a nice racial, however - just no longer godly.

WotF is (was?) a given, but I'm really comparing the strengths of an Orc to a Troll. Orcs are an all around kickass race. Bloodrage and Chance to Resist stuns are much more appealing than Beserk and..... +Throwing. Regen isn't all that great, seeing that there isn't any viable way to enhance it. +Bows isn't that useful for a Rogue either. +5% to beast damage only goes so far.

Even Dwarves make better Rogues than a Troll.

I'm not too concerned though. They look cool.

I've got a human Warrior (using my somewhat standard name Kelthoss) on Lethon leveled up to 9 so far.  Have to take a break for a while.  Forgot what a pain it is when a new server opens and all the newbie areas are crowed as fuck.

My hunter on ED is 54.  I'll be more than happy to kick down some gold to anyone starting a new character on the server.

As far as I know, Severence is dead.  If needed I can start a new guild.  Problem is I will not be home until later tomorrow night.  Want me to start it now and get you guys admin rights? (not, this does not guarantee I will be playing!)

Severence isn't dead, but is as-good-as.  The only people with invite powers in the guild are Foozle, Shadebone (Both Shockeye) and Haemish.  Haemish has the guild leader position as well, but it's easy enough for any officer to petition and get the charter turned over to them, i've seen it done on PvE servers before.  Shock also logged in sometime in the last day.

You all also got me to think about rejoining for about 5 mins.  Then when I logged into the server and saw the world defense spam and remembered that I'd be playing alone since I'm the only EST-zone person.. I decided against it.   :-D

Not sure how, but I have invite powers on ED - Severence with Malurg.  He's not particularly high ranked (Condemned), so a lot of folks have invite powers as well.

Now... those that have been on in the past few months, just you (Merusk) and Strazos.  But you DO have the power to invite.  I do.

Just an update.

*Sorry Toizo and Rojin I got assaulted by my ex for a huge "our relationship" convo, so sorry again for going poof the other evening.*

I have been helping the guys a bit on ED with a small amount of gold, and some healing etc.  I have a 45 Hunter with decent LW, and a 22 Rogue, and a 22 Druid.  I think the reason ED keeps getting thrown into the vote bin is that a few different people have some resources there that make it easier to level up alts.

If we could all decide that server XYZ was THE server then I would go wherever.  I have played both Alliance and Horde toons to mid/high levels on PvP servers and don't think that either really has a glaring advantage in levelling or PvP other than maybe Undead for WotF.

So either side is fine, but I just don't want to start (or restart) on a server and then have 3/4th's of the people that were gung-ho for a new server to be stricken with MMO ADD and bail.  If we are just going to play and fuck around for fun then we should probably just stay on ED where we have some resources. (IMHO)  Although I too hear the sirens call of a "fresh server".

P.S - Wherever we land we could use the help of F13 folks logging on to sign our charter, even if you have to make a level 1 junk toon to do it.  We (lol the 3 of us) keep wasting gold on signature bribes only to have the guild creation system five hole us.  If we could get some "community" help that would be a lot more pratical.

I think we've pretty much decided that ED is THE server, some of us are just messing around with alts on another server.

If the population of Lethon cools down during the week like I think it will, then this character might start outleveling the troll.

FYI, I can make potions.  And my rogue is 54, not 57.  I really enjoy playing with others, and if my RL buddies start playing again I will be around to help you guys farm instances/complete quests and provide potions.  I have much love in my heart.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

I haven't played since sometime late last year so I had to go back and read all the patch notes to try to figure out what had been changed and added since then.  Also been thinking about respeccing my Hunter out of BM, and I've been going through my bank trying to remember if I was holding on to some of the stuff in there for a reason.

Is that Burning Region on ED?  I made an undead character just for that guild and signed up but the guild whatchamahootie didn't work.  I'll do it again, though, because I will then be an Itchyrash in your Burning Region.  I wonder how long my character's name will last on an RP server.

Long. I rarely see RP'ers. It's just like any server really. A lot of people running around with names like Shadowstrika, Doomstrika, Honeypie, Hotbabe, and Theclitoris.
