There should have been less information in that article. I almost learned something interesting from it.

According to Romero (who says he loves MMOs), the game he's working on is "very different from any other MMO for some special reasons." Precisely what those special reasons are, he wouldn't elaborate.

My bet is, he meant "special" in the "short bus" sense of the term, i.e. "Much like schild, this mmog will be 'special'"..

You have to at least give him credit for not creating an MMO that's the same as all the others.  At least until he starts coding...

Incidently, how long would it take to make Daikatana Online?  This could be the WoWIII-killer.

Ooh, archive.org still has most of Killcreek's old website. Including this:

Christ.  The fact that she and not he wrote that cut down on the creepiness factor a little, but I still felt dirty reading it.

Looks like she's met a Stuart Platt, Director of Product Development for THQ, and together they've had a baby also called Stevana, but known as Evie instead of Stevie: http://www.stuartandstevie.com/

More recent photos: http://killcreek.smugmug.com/

Wikipedia says:
Quote
As of November 2005, Case is employed at Tira Wireless in sales/business development.
The personal site says she's about to start a new job, but it also says Evie isn't born yet. In the smugmug pics, Evie looks about a year old. And Stuart Platt may have moved to Capcom. Both seem to have jobs related to mobile products.

They named the kid Steveana?  WTF.  No one gives thier kids any credit for being able to figure things out but by the time this kid is 4 she will be wondering why she has both a boy's name and a girls name.  Good luck getting her through her teen years without suicide attemtps and a lot of pain, suffering and mental head banging.

Why the fuck would you do that to your kid?

They should've just called her "Stevie Jr." since they are already calling her "Evie" (I'm assuming with a long first e).

Man, Stevie, the glory days are gone...

I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping for something a little more compelling than motherhood. Maybe like jumping out of a moving train while on a coked up sex rampage.
