Yeah that combo woulda been amusing to say the least.  I'm so glad I got Julius though, had him on almost all my teams last year simply for being a cowboys fan, was quite shocked that I got him without rating at all.  I think Collins should be able to connect with Moss fine though, hell all Dante did was air it out and let Moss jump for it for a few years and Kerry sucks but he can throw it deep at least.  Yeah a few screwy picks in there, grabbed a kicker way to early and the final picks there were alot of gems left but I can't complain, its a solid enough team.  Looking through the teams I like the matchups should be a close year.

Obviously I'm pleased with Peyton, but I'm also happy with Horn, and my defense. The real question for my team is, will Warrick Dunn or Kevin Jones be a better runningback?

Yahoo's rankings were pretty decent, because I can't really think of a situation where I'd rather have Steven Jackson over Julius Jones.

Really? I would take Jackson every time. He is in a far better offense, for one thing.

Players coached by Mike Martz make me nervous.  Who knows if the batty asswipe all of the sudden decides it's time to resurrect a completely faded Marshall Faulk or go 5 wide on every down? I'm just hoping he's got some control of his faculties and realizes what he saw last year was someone who's about 200% as effective as the alternative running the ball.

They said he's number 1.  He showed the talent of a #1 last season. He's on a team that plays on turf.  Yet, I'm still nervous.

Except for those days when Martz's robot brain freezes up and he forgets that he has a running game.

I don't think there is anybody on the planet who hates Martz more than me, but I would still happily take Jackson or Holt. Even Bruce and Bulger, if the situation were right. Hell, I took Marshall Faulk.

Basically, there is too much talent on that offense for even a douchebag of Martz's caliber to totally stifle.

So, T.O. just walked out of training camp after getting in an argument with Reid in a team meeting?

Nice.  What the fuck was I thinking?

Hmmm, he was asked not to return until next Wednesday. That's cute.

I'm trying to look on the bright side - he'll be nice and fresh for the regular season and put up huge numbers!

I can't imagine he'll have many friends in that locker room though.

And who would trade for him at this point?  That's not a question for Andy Reid, it's for you guys.  Seriously.  Anyone?

T.O. has gone off the deep end into batshit insane terrirtory. I heard him on the radio yesterday talking about the thing at his house. Way to not be a distraction to your team, you cockass monkeyfucker. You have now redefined the term "locker room poison." It ain't all about business, because if you were a professional, you wouldn't grumble about autograph sessions and diss your supposed friends and coworkers with words like "I wasn't the one who got tired in the Super Bowl." Take your sprained groin, hang it on the wall next to your sprained labia and shut your stupid, cock-filled gob.

Philly won't pay him any more, and they won't trade or release him, because that's what he wants. They should just suspend his ass for the year on GP.

I hope the NFL is happy, because this is a situation of their own making. He fucked up and was obligated to play for San Fran at the beginning of last year, so they traded him to Baltimore. But he didn't want to go to the Ravens, so he bitched, whined and complained, even though he legally had NO POSSIBLE EXCUSE to say his contract or the trade was invalid. The NFL let him have his way and now they as a league and the Eagles as an organization are paying for it, because now he's doing exactly what he did then.

As for teams that would trade for him, the Raiders. Al Davis would take him. Imagine Moss AND Owens on the field. I'm not sure if a pass would ever get caught, as those two cockholsters would either be too busy jawing at each other, or trying to outprimp the other one.

Ricky Williams is looking like he was a good choice :)  Too bad the Dolphin's O line is so weak or he would have been a great choice.

I'm pretty happy with my team, I would like another decent RB for back-up but I've got some excellent WR's.  Reche Caldwell could easily be a top 10 WR in the NFL if he stays healthy, possibly my best late draft pick.

I'll give you top 20, but to crack the top 10 both he and Brees would have to have career years, IMHO.

Um, exactly?

The Chargers look very strong offensively right now.

Not without Gates they don't. The passing game will be severely curtailed if they don't get him in camp, healthy, happy, and ready soon.

Gates will play this season, and if the Chargers feel like it, they can lessen his suspension. The problem I see with any Charger reciever is that I figure LT will come away with 20+ touchdowns this year.  I know he's be consistently amazing, but I really expect him to just slay this year.  Plus, Gates will be playing like it's a contract year because I honestly don't see him in San Diego with all of the bad blood between them.  A San Diego WR may get some yardage, but it's hard to see them walking away with a lot of touchdowns.

Could be wrong though.  Perhaps it's just my bitterness seeping through at not grabbing him or McCardell in the later rounds.

If you need an RB, Mewelde Moore is going to start Week 1. Neverland is open to trading ideas for anyone desperate at RB.

I am getting more and more concerned with my RBs Lewis and Portis. Ugh. I kind of held my nose when I picked them and things aren't getting better. Kerry Collins needs an incredible year for Neverland Bandstand to make the playoffs, I fear.

Yeah, good luck with that. Collins is allergic to success...if he has a couple of big weeks, he will do something to sabotage himself.

The Bad :  Played against the highest scorer this week (damn you haemish)
The Ugly:  Nothing really, played my best players this week.

At least I'm beating Haem in the Morlock league... unless McNabb has a monster game   undecided
