Heh. That was pretty good. I fear that he humor will fly far over the heads of the average poster there, however.

I saw the humor. I didn't find it funny. Can one of you people petition in about the Bat Country guild, see if the GMs can do anything? It's seriously a case of $15 not being worth it to switch a guild over. I'm sure a nice GM would be willing to do something, and I'd be willing to confirm it by email or whatever.

Well two favourites for today:

1. The "I failed basic economy and have multiple personalities" thread

2. The "everything I don't know how to do must be easy" thread.

and to derail the thread, something really worthwile to read

Most amusingly retarded "NERF SHAMAN" thread of the day.

I like the level 58 undead priest making her case.  I hope she was being sarcastic or ironical.

why not impliment them?

give reasons, be CONSTRUCTIVE.(just post on ur lvl 60 shamen, no lvl 30ish alts)

Ok, so you want constructive reasons, but you can't even be assed enough to worry about spelling, anyone who disagrees with you is a shamen (sic) and no one who isn't level 60 has valid criticism.

Gene pool, cleansing. K thx.

Rules for Lord Kazzak encounter

Not being a level 60 catass, I had no idea this was even an issue. How in the holy hell did this encounter get through playtesting? It is so obviously and easily griefable...there is just no way in hell they can properly police this and still 'adequately' cover the rest of the game.

The reason I love WoW is that I can ignore that aspect of the game.

Hell, all my Zul'Farrek quests greyed out, so I decided to attempt soloing just the quest objectives. To test my power, I use the 3 mobs at the front of Zul. So far I've not been able to kill all three grey elites (low 40s to my lvl 57), despite being able to handle two equal-con elites.

I try it about once a week, and every time I leave with the same feeling. "That dungeon fucking sucks" I despise that portion of the game utterly. Not remotely fun imo.

You'd think after all the bullshit Tigole and Furor went through and put others through with encounters of this nature in EQ, SOMEONE at Blizzard would have learned that this type of shit should just be instanced. But I suppose they've decided that "exterior" areas will never be instanced, which is a bad idea, IMO.

I don't know that that is true specifically.  Zul'Farrak is apparently outside, but it's bordered closely by rock walls on either side (a valley).  I would imagine that the size of instances is kept small in that way to ensure that the memory footprint isnt too amazing on the server, but they can be outside.

So it's just a bad design choice period - no arbitrary rules entered the picture I'd guess :)

Witty banter not included.

New troll here.

I really hate these self aggrandizing prats. This NE priest has found it appropos to tell everyone about EVERY LITTLE FUCKING QUASI-SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE she's reached.  Center of attention people just make me want to stab, stab, stab until nothing's left but elf putty.  I'll probably write a targetting macro for her in PVP.  It's even better now that she weaseled her way into an uber guild, so she'll feel hard pressed to comment on every single little fozzle killing and reputation drama.

Now, I'm setting myself up absolute flamage on the boards (hell, it's already coming in, she's well liked by the bumpfuzzlers) and possible reprimand from my guild (don't care), but's it's worth it just to see her crumble just a bit.

Edit: damn, she deflected.  Well done.

Ok, PVE exterior areas. :) Actually, if as I fear, there will only be one Battlegrounds per server, that's not really so much instanced as it is population-controlled.

I enjoy this thread where someone is whining about a PVP server not being like PVE and thanks to the new patch there's too much PVP going on.

Quote from: Mysticdeath
This is the absolute worst patch ever made. To all you people who are gonna say im retarded. Stfu ahead of time. Thank you. I am level 52 and I know that it is now impossible for me to get to level 60. Not to mention the fact that i play on a server were the horde are outnumbered by alliance almost 2x. In any high level area, all being contested for some stupid reason, there will be high level oposing faction running around. Regardless of any new rules you might set in. Dishonorable kills will mean nothing on a server were there is an extremely larger amount of alliance than horde for example. Simply because you will be zerged and thats the end of it.

Blizzard, the only way to make a good system to gain this type of gear. Take out this god forsaken pvp honor system you have, so that it is playable again. All you need to do, is simply make Battle grounds first. Make a battlegrounds reward system for the items implimented for honor system. But clearly this honor system crap just isnt working and should not be in this game.

Ps: If im forced to move to PvE because of this (which im considering) I will. Then once my account expires. Your not getting another penny from me.

Nobody can have my stuff so dont even ask.

"OH MY GOD it's a blue, now!"

Gem of bloodspire? Vendor trash..
"Who needs anything in white letters yeah"

Common sense goes out the window as soon as you pass through that instance portal entrance..
"It wasn't mentioned in the loot rules, now!"

so crack open an ice cold bud light oh master ninja, cause without people like you to complain about, that would leave us with only 1,437 other things.
