Bizarre suicide post combined with insane ramblings about his penis falling off.  Somewhat amusing on face value but gets extra points for currently being the longest thread on the priest boards.  Since it has been up for almost two days it is being used as morbid proof that the mods/devs don't even look at the priest forums anymore, everyone keeps bumping it to see when someone will finally delete it.

I was impressed with Blizzard's ability to read the forums and respond the first year or so of the game.  I suspect player dissatisfaction will increase now, though, because they have lost that ability.  Whether it was smart to begin with to set expectations that highly with regard to the forums, I don't know, but they did.

It's always a bad move to give people something and then take it away.  Always.

Yeah, apparently we missed a "Power Word: Nothing" discussion, too, that got deleted as well.  I think the priests are going sarcasm-crazy.

How to pick up women, WoW style.

That was pretty amusing.  Especially when the OP replies on page 2 for help with the 'Dating' instance that he can't seem to even get in to.

The author notes it's actually an update of a post he did for DAoC, and that it's not real, but based on 'real life events'.

Back in UO, one of my guildmates had an in-game marriage with someone he assumed was a woman.  A couple of months later we started using voice chat and he was a bit surprised.

I have a few chicks that I game with in WoW all the time, but we use TS so it's not like they are running around in skimpy NE outfits playing pretend.

I have noticed they do seem to enjoy "dressup" with all their characters and will continue to wear crappier gear because it "looks cute."

I would love it if they made a single item outfit for the various "sets".  Collect all the individual pieces and turn it in for the one item that occupies all used slots when worn.  I'd be fine if it didn't even have the stat bonuses anymore since I want it for the look.

Of course there are those pieces I love using in multiple outfits to change the look up...

I don't know how many boots she had (WoW feet items usually look like boots), but I'd guess quite a few.  I don't think she'd have wanted the things to be combined into a one-piece outfit; well it would have saved some space, but like those hats that NE's like to use, she probably wanted to keep that separate.

She was a druid; at some point she went after the whole Tier 1 priest outfit (I forget the name) just for its looks (the priests in the guild had Prophecy/Transcendence by then, so shrug, nobody cared).

I think players should have separate a wardrobe closet, and clothing designers who can alter the look of outfits.  Although I will wear ugly clothes that are more functional, I don't like it.

My daughter's hunter has bags full of robes solely for the purpose of dressup.

I just wish we had the option to dye our equipment/clothing as we see fit. I loved wearing garish colors in UO and CoH.

LMAO! Exactly. My favorite was the giant floppy wizard's hat dyed to completely clash with everything else I was wearing.

The chat in the screens on that page are also brilliant.  Blizz knows their players too well.

I got a good chuckle of of Warcraft: Heroes of Azeroth!

I'm loving the "Heroes of Azeroth" game release. Which is essentially Warcraft III with a new name. Took me a while to figure out what they were getting at until I went to the site they put up. Clever.
