I'm thinking about replying w/ CoD items.
Okay, that's officially a great idea. I think I'm going to go buy me a huge stack of cheap bullets.

There's a character named Dren in a girly anime called Tokyo Mew Mew. They probably thought you were just referencing that.

Son.of.a.bitch!

No wonder I see so many Drens anymore.  I completely made that name up for UO back in, what, 1995?  Let alone it spells Nerd backward, I thought it was unique. BAH!

I feel your pain.  Someone's been snagging my hunter's name and using it to create lowbies on multiple servers.  Been using that name since '98 without anyone picking up on it. Grr.

It'll likely not do anything, these guys probably delete the character as soon as they're done sending out their wave of spam, so your stuff will sit in the mail system for 30 days, then auto-return to you.

It might work if you could social-engineer them with the body of the message pretending to be their sweatshop boss wanting the gold they have, transferred via CoD to "avoid bans".

Yeah the bots actually sending out the spam probably have zero money on them, they know the account will be deleted so they wouldn't keep any money on them.

Yeah but if that works you might get your own account deleted  shocked

Oh, I don't expect to actually get anything.  I just thought it'd be amusing to try it with some snake penis-meat, since I had been killing the windserpents in Blade's Edge after reading this last night.

Who knows, though.  The guy who sent me the e-mails yesterday had a real name, rather than 'pxxxeroiswq'

Meh, if they ban me while I've still got the "buy gold from me, ke ke" letter in my box then I'm better off not sending them my $15 a month.  :-D

What am I looking for there?  Sure it's shitty, but I don't see anything... you know... awesomely shitty.

The Prayer of St Patrick, in the sidebar. It starts off like a standard prayer, but it gets a bit kinky with Christ in the third paragraph.

I think they only have a "limited" number of tells now as well.

I doubt that, or theres a way around it.  Everytime i get spam everyone in my guild/group/zone gets it as well.

Yeah, I get the feeling that it's some kind of 3rd party-app that they're using. For a while I'd send tell-spammers back a reply of 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
long enough to fill my /r limit, then spam it back to them until they log off.

Now, right after spamming myself and everyone in the guild/zone, I can't put them on ignore OR reply. So I just put up a ticket with the
spammer's name on it, with a "I don't need to personally speak to a GM" at the end. I figure that's about all I can do.

is everyone else mostly getting tell-spammed by the same people? "p3ons" and "inn" are the ones that I get mostly on my server.

I know I'm getting both of those (can't remember any others off hand).  I still have a copy of an old spam mail from peons4hire.com (back without the 3, maybe it got shut down?) which I kept just because it was so totally bizzare (starts off saying how they noticed how hard I was working, but how all Horde players need shinier armor, and how I should kill 100000 wolves and take their eyes to make a potion, or something insane like that, and then at the end just suddenly throws in a sentence about buying cheap gold at their website).  I just can't believe how crazy this crap is getting.  Surely a corp that was THIS visible in game would be easy for Blizzard to nip?  I mean, you have to go out of your way not to hear about them, it's not like it would require a lot of sleuthing to track them down.

The other day the weirdest fucking thing happened.  I got the usual three /tells of spam from a guy with a name made up of random letters like normal but instead of their usual buy gold shpiel i got poetry, and everyone else in the zone and my guild did too.  I still cant figure out wtf that was, maybe a test.  I know one of the lines was "somebody somewhere thinks of your smile and while thinking of you thinks life is worthwhile" which sounded kinda familiar.

I recently saw my speed hacked toon the other day.  Some level 1 was zooming to Org from Razor Hill, and I mean zooming.  Faster than any rocket boots or potion.  Had some name like Gdfmkdslfjkd.

I imagine it was one of those trial account lvl 1s that spam goldselling services.

Those new boots are still a little nutty. Apparently if you activate them and a parachute cloak, then running jump off the cliff in front of the graveyards in WSG, you'll fly halfway across the map before you land :)

Still the same person I've been for the past two years in this game, and thats that.

My fursona (My animal spirit) is and has always been the lone and cunning wolf. Here are a few artworks of me when I transform into my fursona.

This last one is of me, taken at Furcon 2008. In my purse I keep the fabled tooth of the wolf leader Nezbaranachon. I hope this clears up alot. Bash me if you will...I just dont care anymore!!!

And my favorite reply:
