If you have HBO start watching this, just started tonight. The first episode was one of the most tense (and great) 90 minutes of TV I have seen in a long time.

I saw an advert for it a while ago and intended to look for it and totally forgot until you mentioned it just now.  Thanks for reminding me!

I'm not sure how I feel about this yet, so I will definitely give it a few more episodes. I feel like it picked up in the second half. Also, John Turturro is awesome.

Kinda slow. It's ok, I'll keep watching it but I'm not super excited for Sundays now or anything.

A rather lackluster end to a series that promised far more than it delivered despite some great acting and directing. In my opinion it would have been better if

I liked the finale and the series overall.

I think that the muddiness of the ending was deliberate, the writers making clear that cases rarely have neat "Law and Order" endings. It's all a process, a machine that grinds up lives and never stops.

I didn't mind the muddiness, it was more or less the whole point of the ending but

Really liked this show. Not usually big on police procedurals but this had a very different feel to it.

Very much that. Plus the final line felt very much like a set up for a 2nd season.
