The "guild" has been created.

If anyone wants in, just write your in-game name here and I'll shoot you an invite.

I am aware that there's only about four of us playing so there's probably no point to begin with, and when the real Community Warfare starts we might have to disband and join a real guild with money and members, but in the meantime it provides us with a nice Guild Chat to keep in touch and try to form a group from time to time.

An additional issue is that, they say, in order to join a Merc Unit you have to align yourself with the "Leader"''s chosen faction, which in my case is obviously "Merc Units". Should we go on with this, we might want to choose a hard faction, but in the mentime I think "mercs" represents us better than anything else.

Anyway, let me know if you care to join. I would extend the very limited privilege the Unit Creator has to anyone who is a known person from f13, and let me know if you want a "custom title". We have 32 slots, so you can be anything you want. Also, I am not the leader. Technically, I am, but I don't like hierarchies so I can step down or simply give anyone the same privileges.

I'm a faction player so I can't join but if you are ever actually group dropping hit me on steam or try in-game (lol).

f13 bravely took a wee stomp into an organized match last night and got teamed up with a nine-strong bunch of hardcore nutters.  Proceeding down the beach, with only me as our single ECM, this clearly teamspeak using team proceeded to utterly dismember the opposition.

Assaults in front, everyone else following, one cohesive unit, they tore through the enemy like lions forcing the enemy up to a hill which got surrounded and, frankly, ended much like 300 did.

It was glorious.

In the next match Falconeer let us down and we died.   why so serious?

I've given up the Steiner blue for being a Merc.  Do I need to be online to complete my treachery?

What?! Why, when, how? We just happened to be grouped with a super organized unit of 9 in the first match (so we won), while the opposite happened in the next round (so we lost). My performances are so dull that they never decide the outcome.  why so serious?

Ironwood on the other hand scored two kills with his Kit Fox in the match we lost. That is remarkable.

It says user "rldmoto" does not exist. By the way, in case you want to change your name, if you write tu support@mwomercs.com they told me everyone is entitled one free name change. Not saying you should, just putting that valuable info here.

Aha! That's because I went with a pilot name rather than every name I use in everything.

That's good to know, Falc.  I've been waiting for the supposed option to do that ourselves, since I created the account well before we found out that your pilot uses the name.

Same here

Is there a name search anywhere you can use to prevent you wasting emails to them with names that already exist?

To do anything Community Warfare we need to pick a faction, which is a problem because you gain loyalty points for that faction only. Faction can be changed since you sign up for periods between 7 days and 2 momths, but the longer your contract the better the lotalty points bonus.

Since CW is online now and I can't even test it until I pick a faction I will go with FRR for only 7 days. In these 7 days I invite all those interested to cast a voge for our faction.

One thing I won't budge on is that we have to be Inner Sphere. Which means, since I am no dictator and we aren't exactly a hardcore guild at the momsnt, that if the majority of you pick Clans I will have no problems at all creating another supertiny Corp just to play Inner Sphere. No harsh feelings, of course.

EDIT: In the meantime, anyone interested in trying Community Warfare and not yet in a Corp, just put your name here and I'll invite you.

I don't even have a Clan 'mech, so I'm all for Inner Sphere.  We're mercs, so I don't actually care which faction we work for, even if I like Steiner.

FRR is just fine with me since it's bound to put us on the front against the Clans.

I'm Abuse Magnet, although I won't be able to log in until Saturday afternoon (very stupidly failed to pack the power supply for my laptop, replacement won't get here until then).

If I join, I promise not to do stupid things to the unit settings more than once a week.

The FRR has a community site and a common teamspeak.

They have some tenant units with their own channels who are pretty open to pubbies. We could use it in any one of the free rooms to coordinate our own drops.

The website: frrhub.tk

The teamspeak: frrhub.tk:9725 pw: Dragon

I know no one cares in the slightest, but I am probably joining a FRR unit, the Skjaldborg ( http://www.theskjaldborg.com/ ), so it's with ache in my heart that I will leave the f13 unit that I myself created. Sadly, this didn't work out, meaning there haz been ZERO players online ever in our group. We played some with Sir T, Sam and Ironwood a while ago, but that was probably more than a year ago.

For reasons that baffle me more than 60 people from f13 tried the game since 2012 but didn't stick around (or did for a while, but then moved on) even though the game just got better and better. Clearly this game got a ton of problems, but it also offers something absolutely unique both in terms of theme (how many 'mech games out there?) and gameplay. Well, my love for 'mechs and BattleTech and MechWarrior seems stubborn and unending so I am still playing and need a group to do Community Warfare or just coordinated action -which is the way this game is supposed to be played- so I'll probably leave our Corp in a few days.

As I said, no one cares, but I felt it was appropriate and right to mention it here. I will appoint everyone in the ranks as Unit Leader. Who knows, with the imminent Steam Launch some of you might want to give it a new spin. If that is the case, remember that you cannot join the Community Warfare queue unless the Unit Leader has signed a merc contract with one of the factions. So if you can't queue up, just remember to go to the Faction screen and sign a contract.

15? FIFTEENTH? Are you serious? Out of about 12000? Wow, for real. I am about 2000th at the moment  ACK!

You should teach me how to play. What 'mechs and builds are you using for this challenge? Are you dropping solo or with a group?

Dropping solo in PQ's and I've only used my Enforcers.  I suck in CW and haven't really tried the group queue's.

This was my best game this weekend.

That is insane. What were you using (seriously, build! Although we are probably already using the same one), and most importantly, what were the enemies doing while you were shooting at them over and over and over and over and over and over with a Medium 'mech?
