My hopes of winning anything this week rest on... the Eagles defense scoring multiple TDs

Good thing my JV team was going against the Panthers' D instead of the Eagles last night.  awesome, for real

I'm now 6-4 in both leagues. I'm nothing if not consistent.

I have identified that burning smell as me being fucked in the anus due to my opponent somehow starting Kelvin Benjamin.

Trade Deadline in main league is this Saturday.

I need a top tier TE/QB and have plenty to trade for it.

He did well for me this week too.

Wonder if you guys think Pierre Thomas is worth a pickup over, say, Colston or Andrew Hawkins in a deep league?  Colston seems done, and Hawkins is probably going to get buried once Gordon comes back.

Ingram is getting more carries. Not sure I trust anyone not named Brees or Graham on the Saints roster to get me consistent points.

This is in a league where I'm going to be starting Trent Richardson and Chris Ivory at RB.  I was rolling with Branden Oliver and Ronnie Hillman for a while there.  Everyone else available aside from Chris Johnson is a speculative handcuff (Khiry Robinson, James Starks, Juwan Thompson, Robert Turbin, everyone else from Dallas).  I hate my team in this league, but somehow I keep winning.

I don't even know if Pierre is back from injury, but anyway...I picked him up for a few games in JV league, but I got next to no use out of him.  On that team, you can never count on the running back to produce.  And even then the chances are they will give Ingram the touches.

Running Backs in the NFL are becoming way too unpredictable and undependable, at least for fantasy.  I said this earlier in the thread when we were talking drafting strategies.  And while I have a weekly annoyance trying to fill out that roster spot, I do not regret valuing my WRs over my RBs.  The trick is finding which RBs are the current hot hands, or just getting lucky.

Heh, I'd sell the entire team before trading Peyton.

Ya. Wasn't sure if you wanted upgrades at WR and RB instead of Peyton.

I regret our Julius for Julio trade BTW.

Even though I named my team Just Show Up, no one on the team bothered to do that.

It'll likely improve now that the Falcons are in a playoff hunt.

Also Julius has an ankle sprain.

What I can't believe is that Jonas Gray sat on the main league wire until this morning.

He was a FA! Could've added him after his second TD!

Well that was uncomfortably close in the JV league. Leading by 35 points and my opponent has nobody but Le'Veon Bell. I thought it was a lock to win but he put up 29, making the score really close.

Mike Evans is awesome.

I have had him on my bench for 6 weeks in my other league (another gaming group, coincidentally).  Unfortunately, I am #7 out of 10 there and only 4 teams make the playoffs so it might be too late.  I am also not hurting for WRs in that league with Bryant and D. Thomas, Beckham.  But I am benching Golden Tate for Gordon this week.

Did you try flipping him? Moved him for DeMarco in my keeper league since Gordon was last round.

I'm apparently just going to keep swapping weeks - one week the JV team will kill it then suck the next week while the exact opposite happens in the main league.

I should've made a few more trades in the main league.

I left 90+ points on my bench last week.

That said, have I clinched a bye even if I lose this coming week?

Magically won this week, renamed team Broken Clock.  Can't get to playoffs but I can be a spoiler.

I'm on the bubble in both leagues with the exact same record. A win and I'm definitely in, a loss and I need help.

You and I are tied in the non-f13 Yahoo league, btw.  You'd win a tiebreaker at the moment and your matchup this week is easier, so I hate you.

Of course I'm running my usual mediocre middle of the pack in the JV league where I so desperately want to prove I'm Varsity worthy.  For fuck sakes.  In my pay league at my new job where I was graciously allowed to join I'm currently ranked #1 overall and their tears taste like wine.  In your buddies league Phildo I'm also ranked #1, shockingly, after an auto draft no less.

I've hit the skids pretty hard in Varsity with injuries. Shit happens. I'm healthy in my other league and I'm top 4 with even Jay Cutler as my QB.

Autodraft is just as good as manually drafting a lot of the time.  Injuries and random sucking are completely unpredictable.

If I get past Yegolev and make the playoffs, I'm gunning for your ass.

Seriously, who doesn't make the playoffs in the league they commissioner when they also got the first draft pick?

All my drafted RBs at some point got injured, and on top of which my TE. I'm amazed I'm not dead last.

Every season in JV I have either finished second or first in the regular season or second place overall after the playoffs.  I don't think there is any promote-to-varsity mechanism in play here.  Or vice versa.  We should either do that, or stop calling them by these names.  It's racist!
