Reactivated my account just a few minutes ago. after a year or more of irl drama with the courts and my ex. finally got to a point where I can play again though i'm guessing my daughter is going to make it slightly harder than when I was single and lived alone. so who do I go through to get accepted back into Bat country? I sent an app when a leader is able.

As long as you put your API data in, it should go through in a day or so.  I'll poke a director next time one wakes up.

So you got custody of your daughter? Congrats. From what you were saying back in 2011, that all sounded like a pretty horrible situation. Sounds like you got the best result though, even though I'm sure it isn't easy.

So reactivated my account, Too.  Floating around aimlessly.  Wondering if I can hang out with you guys again while I get my spacelegs back.  I sent in an app.

I just finished leveling my SOE LP for probes and launcher on my Buzzard and this is nice to see.  Tad disappointing it's faction based.  Dunno as an all missile Caldari what I would get out of it.  Keep training for my Tengu in the meanwhile maybe.

Since this asshole abandoned me in WOT, I had to activate as well. Gonna run with Goons proper this time around (at least I hope so).

I'm still playing - although I just log in to change skills right now. There's not much going on although I might move over to curse if I can get over the :effort:.

Salvager drones and deployable fittings and tractor beams.

Tell me more about tractor beams; are these different than the module you can use to pull loot cans closer?

Is low-sec pirating still viable in cheap ships or is everyone flying advanced ships?

You drop a module out of your cargo hold and it pulls in stuff within a 125KM radius.

Salvager drones and deployable fittings and tractor beams.
one of the reasons I quit was I was doing drone-boat Gallente stuff and drones got, well, kinda useless after a point. At least as best I could tell. I was kinda training up recon and interdictor stuff for scouting stuff for the fleet when we were a bit more active.

I do enjoy looting the crap out of things, though. And salvaging.

Having to come back after a mission in a destroyer fitted to the gills with tractor beams and salvagers and spending AGES sucking it all in was annoying. Do these salvager drones and tractor pod things help with that? And what's a 'deployable fitting'?

As near as I can figure out, they're things that can be anchored at arbitrary points (like secure cans) but actually do things (first versions appear to be deployable mini-stations with storage space and refitting services and siphons that can divert moon minerals).

They also introduced the Noctis Salvage ship. It has like 60% faster times the range and speed and velocity on tractor beams. And something for salvagers too.

Salvaging is good money. Better than ratting, but more effort.

Low-sec PvP in cheap ships is totally viable since we got our asses handed to us plenty of times by Tech I duders when we as a corp were there just a bit ago.

Like I'm sitting in this old near empty low-sec system we used to stage out of and "gf" keeps getting typed into Local chat, so there's definitely low-sec PvP going on all the time.

I'm in suicide ganker central. Always funny to see 64 killed in past hour in a .6 system.
