Carnifex's last f13 post was his league signup, so let's not hold breath. If everyone can get on with the other 6 matches and we'll disqualify the Bridgeburners if they haven't shown up by then.

I've got Eldaec it looks like? Hit me up on Steam, unfortunately my times aren't very flexible generally so a Saturday is probably our best bet.

Can we just sub one of the following esteemed teams for Carnifex27's Bridgeburners?

It would make sense.  He played in the final against me for the D&M trophy.  Blackrock was one step from that championship.

I haven't seen Comstar online in almost a week in Steam, and his last f13 post was Aug 31st.  I'll assume he's busy with work/family stuff.  Nevertheless, I just sent him a PM on the boards here to see if that'd get his attention that way.

Nah no TV related requirements for the Masters series. Just 10 games played and your rank

The PM worked  Comstar has advised that he's been without internet for the last week, but has reacquired service through Verizon.  We're gonna try and get the match knocked out today/tonight.

is it too late to enter?

For this current set of Masters, I believe so.

The Drilling and Manliness tournament will probably begin some time at the end of the current main season or just after it.  That'd be a good a tourney for you to start in because there aren't any requirements other than your team being in the f13 Feeder League, and it segues nicely into the regular season because it allows you to beef up a team for competition.

The f13 feeder league (and all the f13 leagues) do require that your teams play no other games but f13 games. I.e. you can't build up a team of ringers in the Auld World league and bring them into the feeder leagues or the f13 seasons. You have to create a new team and submit it to the feeder leagues.

The Feeder League is an ongoing thing.  There aren't any fresh starts.  Put a team in and you can play with them against other f13ers anytime you want.  We just have occasional tournaments within the league: D&M and Masters.

no problems. Do tell if there's a fresh league start. I can just make a new one.

1) Make several new teams. Do go to the trouble of naming the players in case one of these turns out to be your main team.
2) Apply to the f13 feeder league per instructions in that thread.
3) Join the f13 bloodbowlers steam group.
4) Bother people for feeder league matches when they are online.

Do all the above and you'll be ready as soon as the next league of any variety starts up.

At long last, the final match of day 1 is complete, and it was a doozy.

Blackrock & Roll | 2 - 2 | f13 Pro Elves for Hoes

Elves won the coin toss and elected to receive.  Typical Elfish BS not only got them a TD on turn 2, but they killed my Frenzy Blitzer, and the Apothecary couldn't do anything about it, rerolling him right into death again.  ACK!

This infuriated the orks and their coach (literally, was three seconds from punching a whole in the monitor), but they would not go down without a fight!  Though the fighting would wait another turn, as not enough elves had yet hit the ground to prevent them to getting the ball and scoring again on turn 4.

BUT THE ORKS PERSEVERED!  DRILLING AND MANLINESS  A kick to deep field left the orks with few options but to just bash heads and try to get SPPs from injuries, so they pushed the line ahead while their lone Thrower went to fetch the ball.  The elfs punched a hole in the orc line and fed a few catchers in to pressure the Thrower, but an opportunity presented itself.  A BOB blitzed down and took the immediate pressure off the Thrower, who made his way towards the line of scrimmage and did a short pass to my Thrower-Wannabe Blitzer with a successful catch.  With the elfs either tied up on the line or down on my end of the field, the Blitzer made his way into Elf territory.  The Elfs, apparently caught blindsided by the orcs apparent skill at pulling off their same bullshit, tried to come back to stop the runaway Blitzer, but the elf bodies were either starting to become more prone on the ground or stack up in the KO/Injury box by this point.  The elfs ultimately failed to snatch away the ball, and the Blitzer ran it in, putting the orcs on the board for a turn 8 TD.

At the start of turn 9, the ref was sacked and let the clock spin over to turn 10.  The turn played almost exactly as it just had, with the orcs pushing up the field in unison while the Thrower went to be the only guy who cared to play with the ball.  Once again the elfs tried to pressure the Thrower, but YET AGAIN the orcs demonstrated their skill at elfish bullshit, performing a short pass from a GFI and into the hands of my Wannabe-Thrower Blitzer.  The Elfs were a bit more prepared this time though, and managed to cut off my Blitzer halfway into their half of the pitch.  A successful defender down roll had the ball leave the hands of my Blitzer and bounce into the hands of...

...my BOB escort  awesome, for real.  The next few turns had the entire orc and elfs teams smashed into as few tiles as possible together surrounding the BOB; the elfs making all their attempts to get enough dice in their favor to try a block in their favor, and the orcs going in for more elfish blood.  After enough Side-Stepping and Dodge-nullifying Tackle blocks, the orcs managed to punch a a hole for the BOB to escape through and try to make the TD.  Victory was within range, but the elfs wouldn't have it, and managed to get a defender down on a single die roll with no rerolls remaining.  The ball landed on the endzone line, but the elfs had no other valid moves to try and pick it back up at the end of turn 15.  The orcs chances were slim, with two elfs sitting on the ball's TZ.  Nevertheless, they didn't want to see the elfs try and get a turn 16 TD.  The knocked down BOB blitzed up and threw a block at one of the standing elfs, but couldn't get a defender down.  The elf was given the opportunity to Side-Step onto the ball, but chose not to, instead blocking the ball in from one side.  It all came down to my lone Lineorc, who hadn't really done a goddamned thing all season, but was the only one who could try and pickup the ball on a 5+ with a single reroll left in the bank.  The order was given, and the lineorc rolled in.  With the death of the team's Frenzy Blitzer still fresh in his mind, the Lineorc gave it his all and dove in to get his hands on the ball!

AND THE PICKUP WAS GOOD!  TOUCHDOWN ORCS!  MY LONE LINEORC FINALLY GOT SPP AFTER 13 MATCHES OF PLAY! DRILLING AND MANLINESS DRILLING AND MANLINESS DRILLING AND MANLINESS

With the score all tied up and half of their team off the pitch, the elves did little but pass the ball a bit for some fringe SPP on their turn 16, and the game came to a close.

While the death of the teams Frenzy Blitzer still stings, the orcs relished in achieving four skill ups for their rookie Thrower, recently added Troll, one of the BOBs, and the Wannabe-Thrower Blitzer (who rolled doubles and picked up Dodge  DRILLING AND MANLINESS)  With cash in the bank, the team also welcomed a new Blitzer to the band, bringing the team back up to full strength to continue the Masters.

Believe me, after being down two halfway through the first half, I was ready to resolve to just getting bloody, but chances of getting on the board presented themselves, and my Wannabe-Thrower Blitzer managed to save the goddamned day again and again.  Having some Blitzers with Tackle put some of the odds back in my favor too, along with the mass Guard from the BOBs.

When we start a new season of the big f13 league, there will be an upper TV limit for new teams that join, and they have to have only played in prior seasons and/or the feeder league, but it doesn't have to be a completely fresh team. Last couple seasons the limit has been 1300.

ALLEGEDLY (lawl Cyanide) it will be discounted for previous version owners: http://forum.bloodbowl-game.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1410

Also ALLEGEDLY it will be semi-compatible with BB:Legendary, in that you can play a non-Chaos-edition-type-team against some Chaos edition person.   Time will tell. Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?
