Apologies to Luckton - who came out one position short of the cutoff.

Skara Brae is again frighteningly bashy. Human, Lizard, Nurgle, Khemri. Would expect the Emperors to qualify, though hopefully with a number of dead players. Second place is wide open, but don't think my lizards will turn out to be developed enough.

Frobozz has Elf, Human, Elf, Necro Orc. Wormfeed seem well placed, Pro Elves also seem obvious favourites, but Bridgeburners Blackrock & Roll could easily turn around and tear a chunk out of the elf teams, mixing things up in the process.

Turned what would have been a 2-1 win, into a 1-1 draw because of greed. Had the ball in hand to equalize at the end of the 1st half, set up for a 3d block on one of his pieces. Trip Push, re-rolled, trip Skulls.

Likewise, I could have stolen a 2-1 win but screwed up my Elf order of operations.

Great, tight match and I've broken (slightly) my hoodoo against Wormfeed.

My first non loss!!!

Skara Brae conference kicks off...

Nerve Damage 1 - 0 Lesser Immortals

Immortals receive the kick off, but don't protect the ball carrier in the back field, get swarmed by lizards for an early score by John 'Stumpy' Pepys. Second drive looks like it might go the same way, but the Nurgle side provide just enough protection, rest of the half turns into a ridiculous skavenesque running game with the ball changing hands several times, but noone makes it over the line.

Second half was just an ugly brawl that never got more than three rows from the centre line. Both sides had chances to break away but Nuffle decided the centre was the place to be. Nerve Damage in particular could have had a second after an unfortunate Immortals turnover, but the Nerve Damage coach needs to remember that disturbing presence is an actual thing, and unnecessary hand-offs under 3 of them are unwise.

No permanent injuries, no levels afaik. It's on BBManager for those so inclined.

Many props to lamaros for replaying the game after his internet died on turn 9 of the first game, 1-0 up, with only 2 saurii left on the pitch.

Yah I forgot to move my guy with the ball which lead to the score, then I foolishly ran deep when I should have played it safe and tried to score.

Nurgle deserve to lose though, so unfun to play.

Ruvaldt, Ingmar, can you two please hurry up and annihilate each other so that lamaros and I can dance over your broken corpses into the semi finals, tia.

Also, any word from Comstar vs Carnifex?

What I am saying is we should play blood bowl.

Khemri stomped 3-0. In their best attempt to impersonate Proudft's Khemri, they had 2 deaths (a level 3 blitz-ra, a level 2 skeleton) and a MNG injury on a thro-ra. On the plus side, Ruvaldt's next opponent gets him down 2 blitzers. You're welcome!

I think I need to go up to 8 rerolls for this team.  ACK!

It was a rough game but the Emperors finally got some revenge for their two previous losses.  Still, two blitzers out for my next game and one with a permanent niggling injury.  Next game is going to be really curious.
