I took a picture of my SWG special edition on top of my CE. Box contents have changed in 10 years.

And you didn't share out a link? tut tut

Too lazy, I'll do it tomorrow.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

I'm afraid the other sith will make fun of me running around with a blue light sabre... awesome, for real.

And well they should, weaksauce.

I weakened, I'm in!  awesome, for real

Character auto-joined BC when I logged on, which was nice. Can't work out how to set the member note as it says in the guild MOTD, only option I get on right-click is to set pvp flag.

Anyway, look forward to meeting some of you in-game.

You've got to be promoted to the member rank to change your note.   I think other members can change your note as well but I haven't tried it.

I think maybe you need to be promoted to Member before you can mess with your own Note?

Dunno, but I'd kill for a purple crystal.  I'd kill an army for a purple crystal recipe.

The crystals exist, there are a bunch of npcs with the model, and I've heard some empire folks had them for a few days (I think a drop had the wrong crystal in it), but I don't know if they're craftable or not.

I hope they are, because the mid-30s blue rock formation is TOTALLY PURPLE, and it would be nice for them to just expand the color options a bunch.

BW put in a black sabre with yellow glow.  swamp poop  Of course it is possible. It is available in the game or will it be at some point is the real question.

http://www.torhead.com/items/catg/3/subcatg/3 , but that doesn't show you what is really available in game.

AFAIR, in addition to the normal ones:
 - Orange can be crafted at high level
 - Cyan can crafted through some rare recipe
 - Purple is available in high level drops

In Beta, lots of missions gave rare colors as rewards, but they took all of those out. Heartbreak

Yes.  And fighting a boss with one made me mad that there wasn't a cut-scene of me picking up his saber to strip out the crystal...

By the way, I still don't have an actual fucking code for my origin-ordered SWTOR. I am so glad.

I like that I purchased my copy on Origin at 11:30PM on the 19th, they gave me the serial and I was able to log in right away. Didn't even have to download Origin, just used my beta client.

Origin is ass, reject it and all its works. I knew better, but I did it anyway.

I will be buying ME3 in a store like some sort of savage when that comes out.  why so serious?

I did this with swtor - I partied like it was 1999.

That was exactly how I was feeling when I was stood in the queue in Game with SWTOR clutched in my paws  why so serious?

I was genuinely surprised that the salesperson was an adult, actually helpful and not retarded, so things have definitely improved since I was last in an actual games shop!

I guess you could look at it as an improvement...  That salesperson is probably way overqualified for the position, couldn't otherwise find a worthy job, and is being paid the tiny, "retarded teenager" salary.

You forget the part where he has to do almost nothing to earn his wage and is surrounded by video games all day.  Could be worse!  Possibly.

No purple lightsabers!  Who the FUCK do you people think you are?  Are you Mace Windu/Samuel L. Jackson?

Would be fine if it was consistently presented as super-rare. But with third-rate and often nameless NPCs all over the place holding purple lightsabers? That's what gets to me. So it's a common color in the game world but players just can't have it because someone decided that anything people might want has to be reserved for level 50.

(Personally, I think I'm going for orange, but my point still stands)

No, it's worse.  You have to deal with the public who buys games in stores.  Unless they're a very rare and odd geek like myself who still enjoys physical copies that means clueless parents and grandparents.  The sort who get touchy when you don't understand what they're talking about when they say "that shooting game!"  and when asked what console give you a blank, hopeless look.   Them and teenagers, who are a blight in any retail establishment.

No, of all the retail jobs I think game store employee is among the worst.
