It must not do it on IE6. At least it doesn't automatically crash it like most things. Ohhhhh, I see.

I'm pretty sure it's a css 3 transition - so no javascript required.

Just, as mentioned previously, a real browser.

Doesn't work for me either. It must be like one of those hidden picture things that only some people can see.

I saw it in Firefox. When the screen looped some of the internet spilled out onto my floor.  swamp poop

At work on an older version of firefox only tilt worked, at home now and they all work (turn off instant search if you have it on for some btw).

Firefox with No-Script installed.  Tilt works, Barrel roll does nothing.

Saw people googling "Google Gravity" from that link, tried it, and found my way to this:

I am amused.

Edit:  Also, all these tricks work on the iPhone, which is kind of neat.

Barrel roll worked fine in firefox with noscript for me, but I've allowed google API's.  My stock Adroid phone browser got nothing on the other hand.  Ohhhhh, I see.

Ah, its that time of year again, isn't it.

This is god damn hilarious and awesome.  You can zoom in pretty far, and they've gotten most of the geography right.  I don't want to think about how much time they put into this...

edit:  Haha, even street view works.
