Topic: Feeder League Masters Tournament - Elitist Bullshit ITT (Read 5968 times)

In the interest of playing more blood bowl, and getting teams at the top of feeder league competitive games, thinking of running an organised masters tournament for the feeder league.
Format
Top 8 teams (max one team per coach) from the league would be invited to take part, if they don't claim their place, we'll start working our way down the rankings.
We then run 2 groups of 4, top 2 in each group qualify to semi finals and a final. 3 matches for everyone and 5 for the finalists.
This would be played within the feeder league, not least so we don't lose the match records and feeder league standing.

I'll throw my hat into the ring on this if you need me, 3 things would have to be answered,
1. i don't have a ranked team so i could hardly say i have a claim to play in this - i'm just offering my services.
2. I don't really have a team, but would play tv 1000 woodies
3. I doubt many of you enjoy playing against me/ will even need me anyways. (maybe thats 2 points - lets not split hairs thou).

This Elitist bullshit has a nice retro-taste. I suggest Eldaec makes it a permanent thing, so it means SOMETHING WEIRD to be in the top 8 of the Feeder League. Eventually, to be eligibile, you should have a certain number of match played. Cool.

My only hope is that enough people sign up so that Ingmar's Going Forth by Day aren't allowed in. Two of the Emperors' three losses came as a result of their play.

Looks like this is viable then, I'll post fixtures tomorrow, highest ranked 8 (per rankings in the OP) to have declared an interest by that time are in.
