Ok, not quite all of f13, more like my Steam friend's list, which is a lot of the regulars. And not quite of all time, since it's just stuff played on steam, since they began keeping track. And hell, they lost about 12 hours of Civ V time I had a couple weeks ago. But what fun is a top ten list if it doesn't have gaping holes to invalidate it completely?

Title - Hours played

Blood Bowl - 3689
TF2 - 3666
Dragon Age 2 - 3254
Rift - 3158 (about half is Nerf!)
Civ IV - 2340 (I mostly played the physical copy, or it'd be much higher!)
Borderlands - 1966
BF:BC2 - 1908
Mass Effect 2 - 1520
Civ V - 1478
Mount & Blade Warband - 1391

Sjofn always skews the Bioware numbers.

My top for a Steam purchase is easily Rift at 188 hours. Not unexpected as it's a MMO and I played two characters to 40+ and 1 to 30+. Dragon Age 1 could be close, but I bought it retail (at Best Buy, I think).

Some games on my Steam list are de-disks or just don't have the stats showing up anymore (like TF2).

My Rift numbers aren't shown on Steam, since I bought it from Amazon.  Were they added, it may take the top slot.

Why aren't I on your friends list?!? :-(

Dragon Age 2 3000 hours but no New Vegas? Really?

Also I'd have expected multiplayer games much higher ranked. Does that mean the average F13er is an antisocial bioware-fanboy?

I dunno, I can't keep track anymore. F:NV is 11th, iirc. As mentioned, Sjofn skews the bioware stuff  DRILLING AND WOMANLINESS

Schild, I got in through my profile page, but it officially lives in the Recommended For You area of the Store. Click the "See All" button by Friend's Favorite Games. Then click the Lifetime button at the upper right of the list.

I don't understand how you people have played more DA2 than DAO.

I haven't played DA2 more than DA:O (yet), but I still think DA2 is a better game than DA:O in a lot of ways.

My DA:O is a physical copy, so was Risen. So the list is going to skew toward newer releases as folks give up on physical distribution for the most part.

I'm just happy my copy of TOR is physical, lest I be outed ala Nerf  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly? My Civ IV alone would've been ridiculous.

At least decidedly uncool. There are about two kinds of people... the console-iphone-bioware crowd and pc-android-betheseda types.

Not saying which, but should be obvious one side is WRONG.

Like mentioned earlier, physical copy.  I wasn't quite buying all my PC games on Steam yet and had a gift card for Best Buy at the time.  awesome, for real

DA2 has 38 hours down for me over one complete game and part of another.  My first game of Dragon Age had around 80 hours in it, and I beat it twice and have a few partially complete games.

I'm at 281 hours on DA:O (but ~36 or so of that is from when I accidentally left the thing on over a weekend where I was bedridden with a fever) and only 121 hours on DA2, but I expect once more DLC comes out, I finish a couple more playthroughs, etc., it will end up around the same.

My friends list comes in different than Sky's, DA:O is 2nd place there. Maybe he is missing Sjofn.  awesome, for real

...also I have Carnifex, by himself, at 1,869 hours played on something I've never even heard of called SquareLogic.  ACK!

Augh, Rasix, why must you post my SHAME. I would make the excuse that sometimes I left the game open and wandered off for an hour, but that probably accounts for like. Five hours worth at best.

Also I have 232 hours spent on Mass Effect 2.  why so serious?

EDIT: And Ingmar, he's not missing me, but he IS missing my sister, who's put in some decent DA:O and DA2 hours. Although I'm pretty sure she'd make the TF2 hours way higher, so it's probably a wash.

How the heck are you guys getting time played to show up properly?

For example, I've played Batman:AA through twice, and it shows me with only 10 minutes played...

Are you playing it while online with Steam? I don't think it tracks time in offline mode.

I don't think I've ever played offline, to be honest.  I just know that my time played on games seems to reset itself regularly for some reason.

Heh, like DA:O - I catassed this weekend for 12+ hours, and it shows a total of 117 minutes played.

First, the numbers are wacky and not to be trusted.

Second, if my time in every game I ever played was tracked even in this half-ass manner, it would be frightening.  Luckily, most of my time is in consoles or non-Steam PC games.  I think my hours clocked in JRPGs alone would have someone call the authorities.  Ah, wasted youth/young adulthood.

Yeah, my list has much more of a shooter vibe than Sky's:

TF2 - 10.3k
BFBC2 - 5k (and that's that my copy is through Origin)
Rift - 4k
DA:O - 3.9k
Lumines - 3.9k (all pretty much one guy)
L4D - 3.8k
EVE - 3.3k
L4D2 - 3.1k
Borderlands - 3k
Civ V - 2.6k

Honorable mentions to ME2 and Football Manager 2011 (mostly because OOTP11/12 aren't on Steam) .  My Raptr friends list is just a lot of WoW, LoL, and 360 shooters awesome, for real.

That's DA:O, not DA2. DA2 is a mere 300 hours.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Look, when I like a game, I play the fuck out of it. I'm just glad The Sims and the hours I put into it over the years will never be measured.

DA:O and DA2 would be higher, except I didn't buy either of them on Steam.  I did contribute a good 100+ hours to ME2 though, and I've still got another playthrough or two planned before ME3 drops  (I'm guessing ME3 won't end up on Steam at all).

From this list, you'd think I hardly played any games at all. I can't understand how you guys could play a game for a thousand hours. Except, of course WoW. Which Isn't on here.

176 X3: Terran Conflict
135 Dawn of Discovery - Venice
110.8 Battlefield: Bad Company 2
58 TF2 (I've played Way, WAY more than this. This should be 300+ hours)
48 Space Rangers 2: Reboot
40 Left 4 Dead 2
36 Evil Genius
26.9 Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® II

Heh, that's a kenken style puzzle game that has replaced solitaire for me when I'm watching tv shows on line.  I keep it running for that amount of time, but only really play it during the commercial breaks and boring bits.  Then again, it is the only game I've ever completed 100% of the achievements on, so yeah, I might have a problem  awesome, for real
