Twilight 2000
Brocktoon vs Sky - should be a bruisefest of a game. I expect that Snoosnoo will take away three convincing points though. 2-1 to Snoosnoo
1-0 Snooze squeaker  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

We'll make sure to put an asterisk in future seasons next to the roll of past champions when I win it all: Sky almost won one game and it was against Team Snoosnoo. But he didn't.

Yo mamas so fat, Cyanide cut her team from Blood Bowl because she took up multiple squares and Cyanide is way to lazy to program that into the game?

Day 3 predictions

Battletech
Gruntle v Lamaros - An important match for the playoffs, will the newly resurgent Chaos team manage to overcome the ratty hordes? I predict not. Win for Skabine. 2-1 to the Chaos guys
Carnifex v ICE - Two teams with perfect records in this season. My money is on the lizards for this one. 2-0 to ICE
Ginaz v Comstar - Top of the table vs the bottom. Hard to see Comstar losing here. 4-1 to Comstar
Helm v Avaia - Could go either way but I'm predicting points for the Necro team.

Cthulhu
Haemish v Paelos - Haemish has shown that he can play around a bashy team and I expect him to grab three precious points from this. 1-0 to the Elves
Falc v Ezrast - Another very close match with a lot of potential to upset the playoff contention. I'm seeing a draw here. 3-0 to Ezrast
Megrim v Ingmar - Classic Elf on Beard action. I think that Ingmar will win and that Megrim will have less of a team when he's finished. 2-1 to the Dwarfs and an impressive list of damaged Elves
Bann v Cafud - Catfud is riding high and I think he will coast on that wave to take victory here.

Stormbringer
Ramas v Sjofn - Norse on Norse deathfest. Ramas to take the honours in a brutal grindathon. 1-1 Draw
Ruvaldt v Proudft - I think that the Chaos team will find it difficult to shut down the Khemrians but the Undead will find it tough to score. Slow match with points to Proudft. 1-1 Draw
SirT v IainC - Much as I hate to say it, I don't think that even I can choke this one. 1-0 to me in a game that was messy but always mine to lose
AndyDavo v Reborne - I expect Andy to round out the skills of his team while romping to an easy victory over the Ogres. 4-0 to the Dark Elves

Twilight 2000
Drogg v Brocktoon - Tough match but I think that Snoosnoo will take the points. 2-1 to the Elves Orcs
Sky v Teleku - Lots of bent Wood Elves but not enough Orc TDs. A pyrrhic victory for Teleku. 3-1 to Teleku with damage contained to loners
Ulysees v Ironwood - Ironwood has recovered a bit after his last match and at least has a team now. I predict a draw. 3-1 to the Lizards
Strazos v Celer - I expect that this will be a tough match for both and will result in another draw. 1-1 Draw

8/14 so far.

Stormbringer has an interesting week.

Presidents vs Beetles. A win for the Presidents and they have practically qualified with 4 still to play. A loss for the Beetles and they are already running low on matches. That said, this is a (relatively) strong matchup for Khemri - hopefully proudft can hold up stormbringer tradition and ensure nothing is settled till about week 7 turn 14.

Horde vs Mutiny is a mirror match in which I have two players out taking me down to the regulation 11, but still give away over 400k in inducements, against the most blatant ringer in the league. Argh.

In Twilight

Huhnqua vs SnooSnoo is a solid grudge match. Huhnqua triggered SnooSnoo's collapse into oblivion last season. I'd probably favour Drogg's more conventional play over SnooSnoo's crazy OrcElf antics.

For my part this is perhaps the match on the schedule for me that I'm most worried about. High Elf vs. Dwarf is very sensitive to positioning errors on my part, Megrim is a good player, and he'll have a lot of inducements to spend. If he scores 3 times I probably lose.

EDIT: What the hell, I'll predict all of them:

Battletech
Gruntle v Lamaros - Gruntle is a far, far better player than when I first recruited him into the league, as his 6-0-1 showing in a side league we have shows. I think he's still in trouble against Lamaros though, and those damn gutter runners. Lamaros to take this one assuming his rat ogre doesn't give the game away.
Carnifex v ICE - I've played both of these players, and I'm going to pick Carnifex on the grounds that in our game he never hit the 2 minute limit and lost any moves.  awesome, for real
Ginaz v Comstar - Comstar will win, Ginaz will have a hard time knocking anyone down in this matchup.
Helm v Avaia - Going to pick Avaia on the theory that someday he has to stop choking. Right?

Cthulhu
Haemish v Paelos - Paelos played much better than I expected him to in our match, and seems to have a good instinctive grasp of where to stand his dudes, but I think the elf score-from-anywhere will take him by surprise a couple times. Haemish to win.
Falc v Ezrast - Predicting the dice will come back to Ezrast in this one and he will win by 2!
Bann v Llyse - Calling the surprise upset for Bann here, and Dominic the Donkey will kill one of the wolves before I can get my hands on it.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Stormbringer
Eldaec v Sjofn - Eldaec will win, and Sjofn will make some interface error that will cause her to go into a berserker rage of her own.
Ruvaldt v Proudft - Ruvaldt will win, but in the process will sustain permanent injuries to at least 2 ex-Presidents due to underhanded Khemri fouls.
SirT v IainC - SirT will pull out the miracle tie, as Iain's extraneous i continues to weigh him down.
AndyDavo v Reborne - Andy will win 4-0 while sustaining 6 miss next game or greater injuries.

Twilight 2000
Drogg v Modern Angel - I have a hard time picking, so this one will be a tie.
Sky v Teleku - Teleku will show the orcs how to actually play like elves and win by 2.
Ulysees v Ironwood - Gutter runners will power Ironwood to a win, but sadly whichever one scores the most TDs will die on turn 15.
Strazos v Celer - Celer will be happy to be the high elves against the bashy team unlike his last run-in with me, and will win thanks to his large pile of inducements.

It was actually the tie with Reborne's Wrestlers but Huhnqua's win was the clincher, yes.

I suspect that it will come down to being an armour lottery game. If your MB works enough times I think you'll take the game 2-1 or 2-0. If on the other hand you don't de-pitch enough of my guys, it will probably go the other way.

Really the question is how much team we both have left by the end of it. I predict both sides are probably going to be a little sad at the end.

depends what inducements u  take. I do think the game *should* be mine to throw away, since i'm AV8 and your 7 and i have AGL4 and your AGL3. apart from that the teams are equal

Battletech

Lamaros Vs Carnifex27 -  2 evenly matched teams with 2 evenly matched coaches, a scorefest 3-3
Gruntle Vs Ginaz -  a mid season decider for bottom of the league, the winner of this may still be able to make the top 4 however.
Ice Cream Vs Hlem - very difficult to see anything other than a home win this week. Can Hlem keep the score respectable?  3-0 Icecream
Comstar Vs Avaia - With Avaia chasing a promotion place and having a lot of frenzy to control the sidelines this will be a hard match up for Comstar this week. He should still have enough to pull thru. 2-1 Comstar.

Cthulhu

HaemishM Vs Catfud - Catfud should be able to do enough here but i sense an upset in the offing. 2-1 Elves!
Ingmar-F13 Vs Bann - a crushing victory here, 2-0 dwarves.
Ezrast Vs Megrim - Megrim should have enough coaching quality to see if the lizards, but this will be hard to do since his TV is so low. 1-1 draw.
Paelos Vs Falc - the chaos whipping boys are playing the whipping master. whether thats relevant to this result is another thing entirely! 2-0 falc

Stormbringer

Ramas Vs Jjoshaugh - this is a great opportunity for SirT to get some points on the board, going up against a team with a lot of development left to do. Ramas should still be ok. 2-1 Ramas.
IainC Vs JRuvaldt - a 3rd vs 4th clash that could see one of them drop out of the promotion places depending on other results. The Elves have the skills but can the chaos cause the kills? 1-1.
Proudft Vs AndyDavo.  Top vs 2nd, I would hope i have enough here to run out with a win, but i  very much doubt it will be by more than 1 TD. 3 Mighty blows may well ruin my day. 1-0 me
Rebourne Vs Sjofn. In what i expect will be this weeks most violent game the only question will be, will there be enough players on the pitch to actually carry the ball over the end zone at all? 0-0.

Twilight 2000

Celer Vs Brooktoon - this should be a walk in the park for the orcs, but as they have shown already this season they can snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory. Will the wizard be the decider in this one?
Ironwood Vs Strazos - a killer norse vs a bunch of ratz. R.I.P Ironwood. 4-1 norse.
Teleku Vs Ulysees - Another top vs 2nd clash and i predict a high scoring game, neither coach bothering with a defence, 3-2 wood elves.
Drogg Vs Mister Sky - How many will drogg score? word on the street is 3. 3-0 drogg.
