You shouldn't be missing any rewards, have you actually tried getting them?

Yeah, I went to the appropriate area (or connected hub) but there was nobody to talk to / no turn-in icons anywhere. I tried walking through a few of the missions as well, but there was nothing on the mission tracker and nobody to talk to to collect the reward at the end.

Some examples from ch8-9:

This was posted as a reply to someone with the same problem:

Quote
Bentlegiant: By completing the missions on Heroic/Superheroic prior to the patch you should have received the rewards for those missions at that point.

Post-patch, since those modes are gone, the missions you completed before should have been marked completed and reward given (since you already received them). Also, any hero that's completed a Story mission from this point on should receive the reward and be marked complete.

It's probably an issue with the UI not updating properly. I'll get working on this ASAP

The quest artifacts are entertaining. They are "properly" leveled when you get them, but there item level is set to the superheroic level. So they are hilariously OP when you get them. Yukio's Charm has nearly 500 melee damage rating on a lvl 18 artifact.

Played Ant-Man for about 10 mins last night (long enough to hit level 6)  Not a fair time to give an assessment, but his powers do seem confusing. Since his passive 'summons ants' I thought I should build his synergies as a summoner for a minute or two. I see he's a melee brawler, though, ants or no.

Also - the ant graphics look like little piles of liquid poo crawling about. Not a fan at this time.

That punch coming up out of the ground does look cool though. I do like the fact that he is his ricochet shot ability. I find that remarkably amusing.

I'm fairly sure the problem is just that the patch broke everything.

If you finished a story quest on one difficulty this patch was supposed to give you the other 2 rewards.

Game stability is also super-shitty right now. I'd give it until next week before doing anything more than logging in for daily reward. Huge FPS freezes and random disconnects make it pretty difficult to play right now.

They put out a patch on Saturday to fix a 32 bit OS memory problem and the result was even if using the 64 bit client you had to download 500 MB followed by 1.5 GB download. That was after a Thursday's 4 GB. 500 MB is a very large patch to fix a code problem. An extra 1.5 GB is ridiculous.

This game takes so long to patch on my (good) OSX laptop that I've uninstalled it.

It will sit there and patch (while taking near 100% cpu due to a huge bug in the patcher) for hours.

Yeah it's getting obnoxious on the PC side, too. Always allocating data and taking forever to do so.

He gets more interesting ant powers. The giant fist of ants is both effective to use and looks neat. The ants are more or less a resource and not really a traditional summon. A lot of his ant powers are basically how he puts down targeted dots or ground aoes.

His primary abilities are melee but with his ant construct powers and some stuff from his middle line he seems to have a pretty good array of powers and ranges. I don't remember what its called but his ranged cone AOE from his middle tree is a real good junk mob sweeper type power huge area of effect and pretty low cost.

Ant-Man is fun and effective, at least at the lower levels.

His super fast punching spender is extremely satisfying to use.  Also Loki is a beast now.

This right here is bruting for about 2.5 mil damage per illusion every 8s, and you have six illusions out.

Ran him up to 54 tonight on MM. He remains the same up to that point at least.  Definitely got better after the first few levels.

It is, AND incredibly cheap to use!  I built my guy around this and the two skills that give it +40% damage.  Haven't got the rotation down right yet but even then he's chewing-up Midtown bosses.

Pretty sure this is the first achievement team up reward that doesn't require you to already own one or more team ups.

Finally did a red raid. I died way too much. I shouldn't have gone in with full DPS gear.  We only had one wipe with the whole thing.

Learning the mechanics better will keep you alive better than any defensive gear will, which is why it's usual to just gear fully for dps. Also, an invuln core makes it quite a bit easier as it nullifies a lot of the mechanics.

Also a lot of champs have some situational abilities that are good for breaking out of stuff and damage avoidance/mitigation. Most parts of the game you can just yolo and ignore those but raids are where it is useful to slot those and get used to utilizing them correctly.

They're going to have to drop the 5 minute timer from the Cosmic Trial. It's basically a massive 'fuck you' to Tank/DoT chars who are otherwise perfectly at home in CMM/CIC.

There really aren't any tank chars in this game and the trials are a walk in the park with minimum gearing/omegas.

Yeah but there ARE characters who don't do massive DPS compared to others. I don't take Ms. Marvel into Axis One-Shot because while she won't die I can't hit that 4min timer after the 1st Hulkbuster with her either.

There are differences between the characters, just not enough to make the trial undoable on anyone with very basic gearing and a few omegas.  If anything the timer is the least of your worries, most people fail to death.
