I have to be honest here :  I have quite a few heroes and I've STILL to get one to 60.  I know you get exp buffs for having multiple (or even one) level 60, but I'm still in AWE of you fucks who can do this so quick.

Iron Man to 60 tonight, I hope.  Legendary quest a go go.

Well obviously if you don't have any 60s it IS a lot harder for you than for us with 200% synergy exp.  Not to mention that getting level 30 turns you into a killing machine when you have max omegas.  Both those coupled with enough credit chests to reroll legendary quests to nothing but terminals and maybe a few boosts during a big xp event make getting 60 completely trivial.

Back in the day we leveled the pre-rework Cyclops just for his extra XP boost and liked it!

I actually did like him back then. His review was awesome. He was just the same, only way more. Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

I pushed with Dr. Strange because I didn't want to dump money at first. It was a goddamn slog, and I remember it being so. Cyclops was my #2, I keep him on everyone until they hit 60. Then I worked on getting everyone to 30 as that was quick and someone here said that gets you a 1% bonus per hero.  You can do 30 on a hero in one evening between X-Def and Legendary Quests. Faster if it's Monday and you just keep killing villains in Midtown and reroll legendaries, because the Xp in those crates is crazy.

After that it's abusing the hell out of Shards for Card 1 buffs, Legendary Quests and Omega Event bonuses. I can get a 250% or better xp boost this way. I typically stop at 50 for the 2nd synergy unless I'm really enjoying the hero.

If I really want to push I'll supplement with the 2h penta drinks I got for buying the advance pack. I've also bought a few potions like the Omega Boost pack and a 5-pack of winter boosts that I use when I want to push a few heroes to 60.  The last weekend when they continued the Big-10 I had something stupid like +625%XP.  That helped push She-Hulk so damn quick.

I've only gotten X-23, Squirrel Girl, Cyclops, Cable, Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, & Dr. Strange to 60 over the last year so its not even one a month. Lower levels are more fun anyway.

Yup, 1% per level 30, 3% at 50, and your first 60 gets you 30%, second 20%, third 15%, fourth 10%, and every sixty after that gets you 5%.  It maxes out at 200% no matter what combination you use to get there.

Ironically, Wife has Cyclops, loves him and is levelling him exclusively to 60, which is a good strat.

She has other heroes, but I admire the focus.  I can't.  I bore easily.

Yeah, during Omega just buckle down and finish leveling you top two or three heroes to 60. You'll immediately notice a difference when you go back to constantly switching heroes.

FWIW, I found it slow until I started playing an overpowered hero (Punisher) and stopped bothering with the story.

My second (Cyclops) took all of 3 hours with the 200% omega boost and xp pots from the play with devs codes.

So Daredevil should be getting his uniques bumped to current standards in the next patch, because netflix i guess.  He's going to kick ass, he is already pretty damn good considering how long ago he last got updated.  Kinda boring voice work though.

He'll be getting more/better voice work when the voice actor comes in to the studios next. Ryolnir posted a few people he wants to record more/better lines for, the big ones were DD, Punisher, Cap, and IW.

Man, we need a 'So you're 60, what now ?' part.  This is all mental.

Also, turns out I have not got all the points because I have to redo that shitty story by Bendis on heroic and superheroic.  Who's got time for that ??

The good news is you can just jump into the waypoint for the missions that give points/ stats and run them. No need to do the whole story.

If you're 60 it's time to roll another up or do cosmic terminals, the new faction thing or raids. I just do dailies and kill things, bringing out whatever character I feel like playing that day.  Nothing really changed about the game for me other than being easier to get the next one to 60 and getting universal drops that are useful to more than the character in that range who'd outlevel them anyway.

There is a promise of a "unified story mode" down the track that should save time when it arrives.

And would think as a fresh 60 you'll get better return improving gear in cosmic terminals than by running the story. More Omega points that way as well.

IF you're a fresh L60, run IC Patrol for a couple of hours; you'll be fully geared with a set of 63 uniques in no time and have a good chance at some of the boss artifacts than can drop in the zone, not to mention Patrol rings which pretty much universally beat out Cosmic Rings. It's also a good introduction to the sort of hurt you'll be facing in Cosmic terminals, but with a buffer of other players to help/be cannon fodder.

Once you've got your first 60 you'll find levelling other heroes is much easier now, also you might have accrued a few +XP potions and the like, which will really help around 45-55.

During Big 10 week I got Squirrel Girl to L45 in about 2 hours of play thanks to my own XP bonus, the serverside XP bonus and a pot. I know a lot of players stack pots of different kinds and hit 60 in ~1 hour or so, but I don't have that kind of commitment/desperation.

Also, Taskmaster needs some TLC. His spirit use is downright unreasonable.

You can just port right to the guys who give ability points.  Cargo freighter in ch 2, kill hood, exit and talk to maria hill.  Fisk tower in ch 4, kill fisk, exit and talk to maria hill.  Shield science station in ch 7, go inside and do three short steps, point is awarded automatically.  Ancient ruin site in ch 9, teleport to asgard and talk to stringer bell. That is it for combo points, you can do a few extra things if you want, taskmaster and sinister give a rif and exp potion, bullseye gives a retcon, and there are a few hp and spirit boosts you can get but i hardly ever bother.

Thanks mate, I'll do that.

Here's a guide to where each quest reward is found. With heroes like Iron Man and Juggs, where they receive additional benefits from spirit, I'd do the check points which give spirit as well.

If you ever see anyone in lfg saying they're lfm for bovin (the level 55 one) then ask for an invite since that place drops a decent amount of uniques (and some with a challenge bonus).

Keep running LQs and daily SQs for odin marks so you can get some blessings on artifacts.

Level up your legendary if you have one. If not, get one and level that up

How are they going to give those missing points to players once they initiate the auto lvl story mode they talk about?
In prep for this, I've been going back w/ my higher (55-60) lvl chars to grab those Points, spirit & retcon.
Not sure 25 health at 60 means dick, so skipped those.

Just give 3x the reward at the time it's awarded instead of a single. It's dumb to have rewards at each tier anyway since it just forces you to redo content you might not have wanted to do again.

Amazing how quick my second chap (Wolvy) has hit 59 now.  That first 60 sure did help.  That'll be too tomorrow.

Five people.  I guess technically you could solo it since there is literally no way to fail, but it would be extremely tedious. Also a bit of a waste.  People will jump at the chance to run it if freely offered, but it is more fair/productive if you can find 5 people each with their own portal and run it five times for the price of one.  Easier if you are in a guild, with randoms you can get people who just tag along and then drop group when their turn comes up.

It's ultra disappointing for me.  Cap had turn around my thinking on melee chaps that aren't Logan, so I thought I'd give it a try.  But No.  Another Hulk.  Another Thing.  Another boring, boring, boring fuck.

There are very few older heroes that still hold up.  I used to recommend nightcrawler, ms marvel and taskmaster to everyone who picked up the game, but holy shit are they behind the curve now.

Ahh Colossus. Worst running animation in the game. Bar none.

There's some legacy art/animation/rigging in the game that really, really needs someone to stop being precious about and outright fix.

I still dig on Ms Marvel and to a lesser degree, Nightcrawler (who's schtick has been whole-sale ransacked by Psylocke who does everything better and faster and with ranged options to boot). I'm struggling to get Taskmaster to 60, though. I love his voicework, I bought the Udon costume so he didn't look quite so 1985 Haloween party, and I'm currently running the 'recommended' build, but he's not in great shape - his damage output doesn't nearly justify how much spirit he uses and his defenses aren't anything to write home about either. I can still have fun with him but it's simply glaring just how behind the curve he is.

I just took Ms. Marvel to 50 two weeks ago. She's not underpowered, she just doesn't slaughter blues/ yellows the way newer heroes do. You're waiting around for her 8 seconds of "FUCK YOU" signature and killing white minions in between.

Agree on Taskmaster. I'm waiting until the next Omega week MM to hump him from when he was parked at 32 (Other synergies took precedence this one)  It's just not going to be worth it any other way.

Need a new alt... how are Moon Knight and Dr. Strange?  Other with strong recommendation?
