Great voice work, now if only Iceman's lines didn't make him as annoying as Squirrel Girl multiplied by Spider Man. Except for the "I'm melting" line, every line of his makes me want a mute button
Besides that and being a spirit hog, Ice is fun as hell.

Finished up Iceman today. He's fairly fun, but it's tedious after more recent heroes to get yet another spirit limited character. I have a similar problem with Punisher, but he at least has his reload mechanic to reset his spirit. Outside of his spirit regen buff, Iceman's got nothing. Not even a spirit regen basic. I don't mind his voice work, kind of like it actually, but I do like Squirrel Girl and Deadpool. I love his "I'm melting" bit when he's dying.

That it does. I'd completely missed that. There's so much Blizzard in Iceman, I'd just assumed it was like a mage Ice Block from WoW that I completely ignored it outside of the passive. Thanks for the heads up.

Though it's more like things have giant loot tables now. The number of drops on a boss kill has increased but it's not like it rolls for every event separately -- i.e. you won't get something from every event on every boss kill.

Somewhere back in the thread, I was looking for a suggestion about a plan for Omega points. Something to tell me, with X points, you should get these Y things. All of the "real" plans are for 7500 points which I don't have. Anyway, I found a thing. This guy here has put together a little program that does just that. You plug in your numbers, tell it what kind of damage you do, put in your points and it tells you what to buy in what order. Laziness for the win!  |
