I haven't been that stressed out in years. Yes, it's sad that a person would get that worked up over pro sports, but well... yea.
Congrats to Chicago for making it a hell of a nailbiter. I'm not afraid to admit that Crawford outplayed Luongo throughout the series.
Still trying to find a good shot of the lifesize Vince Vaughn cutout in a Canucks jerssey they had beside the penalty box last night. Awesomeness.

God that was stressful. More poor son jumped about 2 feet in the air when I yelled when Burrows scored. I didn't get to sleep until about 3:30AM from all the residual biochemicals racing around in my body. Consequently I am exhausted today, and quite cranky. I can't even imagine how I would feel if they hadn't managed to pull it out. I would probably be at a sporting goods store procuring a high powered rifle.
On to Round 2! I need to lay in a deep supply of alcohol to get through the next few weeks methinks.

Fleury looked great. The rest of the team looked a lot like a team with 2 of the very best players in the league, and 1/3 of its salary cap, sitting in the pressbox. I was thrilled to see them get as far as they did.

Strangely calm about tonight. I am almost positive the Canucks are going to come out flat as a pancake, but I just don't see Nashville having the horses to get by them. All bets are off if Luongo is actually injured (as I have seen speculated), still has a playoff mental block, or if someone place fucking Chelsea Dagger within his earshot.
