Looks terrible. Pop culture in fantasy can work well (Knight's Tale) but mostly it's just cringingly awful (Black Knight).

Silly but it looks like the pop culture doesn't go over the top in a way that breaks immersion which is something all those scary movie/airplane ripoffs have been doing lately.

Somehow I kept thinking that this is the logical halfway point between RP servers in WoW and World of Whorecraft.

Misa Jar Jar Binks. Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

In all seriousness I just found her incredibly annoying all the way through that trailer, and kept wishing they would just get away from her her and back to the awesome other characters. Hell she didn't really have a character, just yet another Bimbo the Warrior Princess. Yeah, we haven't seen that before 160 times.

Maybe she will be a lot better in the full film. *shrug*

That's funny because I feel the exact opposite.  Knight's Tale was offal.  Black Knight was your average lowbrow comedy de jour.

I forgave Ewan McGreggor & Samuel L Jackson, so I can definitely forgive Natalie Portman sporting next to nothing.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Paul Bettany as Chaucer, no less. That makes me give it an automatic pass.

I'm not sure about this one. Parts of it looks like it's trying too hard while other parts look like they're half-assing it. I'm happy I got to see Portman in a thong, though.

By the way, Knight's Tale was awesome.

I forgave Natalie after her rap video.  And I really wasn't very mad at her very much considering the absolute shit she was given to work with.

Haha, yeah, that was my favorite line of the trailer.  I may go see the movie just for that.

Really? You choose Black Knight over a Knight's Tale? I couldn't even finish Black Knight it was so horrible...

A Knight's Tale on the other hand is awesome as long as you go in knowing you're getting a sports movie with fantasy trappings.
