Great little mini-mmog type of game.

Perma death, leveling is quick.
Click on players for instant teleport to them.
Click on a green dot on the minimap to transport to a person or group.
EXP is shared if you're nearby any killing.

Level a character 20, delete it, level another to 20, certain combos unlock other classes.
There is a wiki, but I haven't looked at it yet.

Fun little time waster.  Character building is done by a few gear slots and stat potions.

This is kinda fun.  Got to level 6 then died to giant angry storm of a bazillion enemies.  Watch out for that.

Find a big group like this and just stay in the middle.  You level like crazy.  Notice my level 16 and noob gear.  Sometimes I'd shoot at enemies, and sometimes I'd try and grab the loot.

I'm not really liking this game for some reason.  Probably the lack of persistence.
As a one-shot timekiller it's kinda neat though.

Really nice.  I'm not able to teleport to a friend.  Can you clarify what I should do?

On the mini map, all them green dots around the edges.  Click on some, then you'll see the teleport option.

The more I play this, the more I am impressed. Reductionist? Yes. Still, it has more depth than it would initially seem.

It was all well and good until the gay porn showed up and I couldn't see the screen any more. Any fixes?

EDIT: Started a new session, didn't see any gay porn but someone did blow the fonts up so they covered the screen.

Just started playing this. No gay porn, but for some reason the chat was in a very large font covering the game screen. Very annoying.

1. It's not really pixel art.
2. It's flash, what they've achieved is technologically *amazing.*
3. Are you really complaining about this thing?

They did a thing.  Now there's a whole big lot of inside that you start in, leading to other insides.... eventually leading outside in a strange fashion.  I don't think they're done adding inside stuff.

No, I'm not really complaining. I like the game.  I have no technical background to appreciate their achievement. I just see that it's lagging my computer with  modest graphic.

Man this is good. Too bad I keep dying before I can make it to 20. Going for the big clusterfuck of people who collect towards the center of a map is a really bad idea. I hit level 17 and thought I could finally make it there with some decent equipment and I got owned by a ridiculously huge group of mobs.

I find it's a better strategy to go there as a level 1 and try to grab some good loot out of the tombstones before you take a hit and die.  Once you find a couple decent things, hit recall and you're probably already level 8 just for being there.

I've gotten all my level 20s by being reckless and stupid up till like 15, then super careful, killing things for 10-15xp to get the last 5.  It doesn't really take that long.

Just got my wizard to lvl 20 - trying to randomly teleport that class into a situation is a recipe for a quick death. Bet method I found with this class was to either run a den or to try to follow another group as they wander through an area.

Priest is up next.

The short bit I played I went off on my own.  I loved people teleporting to me when I was fighting a horde of ents and quickly dying.  They were usually kind enough to clear out a good deal of it before biting it, too.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

Forget about trying to transfer items from one char to another by yourself.  If you leave items in a secluded area then delete and recreate, the server clears everything as soon as nobody is around.  I lost a bunch of nice archer gear that way when I was transferring from Knight.

I just log on and start running to the next boss mob. Indicated by a red arrow at the edge of the screen. At first I end up getting to the boss loot after the fact, but that takes me across the world, through lots of fights, and I upgrade on the loot of higher level folks dropping it behind.

Slower and safer than a teleport, but I still die before 20 :)

I've lvl 20'd all the basic classes and the Knight. Wizard was the hardest, given that a teleport can lead to a very quick death. Currently on the Huntress.

I also try to do the right thing by dumping all my good stuff out into the Realm area before running off on a suicide mission. That said, it is fun to be in a big group when people start dying and watching the group act as pure loot hoovers.

Great game. I'd like to see a more interactive world though... think Dragon Warrior. Shops, more equipment, temples that heal you etc...

To get to 20, the strategy is fairly simple... Find the zone with the most people in it (listed at the bottom of the entrance) go there, mouse over all the people at the edge of the screen until you find a LARGE group (20+) and teleport to them. Hide in the middle of the mod until your at least level 5, cause 1 hit will kill you. Then you can venture out and try to get some loot. You can get all the way to 20 in less than an hour this way. I had 1 character I made it to 20 in about 30min. Once your level 20, abandon this group and go out on your own to look for equipment. Carefull, even at 20 it's pretty easy to get smoked in this game.

Hey, looks nice, I'll probably try it out. Just looking at the shots, it reminds me of the old school SSI games in the mid eighties (pre-gold box). Oh, and Tarjan  why so serious?

'nother tip, you can zoom the minimap all the way out with the mouse wheel, but only if your pointer is not on the minimap.  When it's zoomed out, makes it much easier to teleport into the middle of the big fat groups, teleport near quest mobs, teleport where you want to go, etc.

Just figured that out fairly recently, makes things so much easier.

CAMP CHECK!

In all seriousness, I would probably give EQ another shot these days if they
1.) Increased the XP rate.
2.) Actually made it possible to solo blues and greens at higher levels.

I could never figure out why my BL and pet couldn't take down something several levels below us. Became maddening when I wanted to level but couldn't immediately find a group. That's pretty much why WoW keeps me paying. With WoW my lock can pretty much take down almost anything as long as it's not an elite 5 or 10 levels above me.

Oh and fuck Holly Windstalker. That wolf attacked me first bitch!!

I was drinking when I wrote this, so sue me if it goes astray.
