Comes out on Steam on August 12th. It looks like they are offering 10% of the $20 price tag if you pre-order this weekend. Considering that I plan on buying it anyway, I'm going to get it now.

I tried the 360 demo and gameplay wise it seems pretty much the same thing, except I find the balls harder to see this time  . Still on the fence about buying it. |

I know they made some changes, but they kept the core pretty similar instead of going off the rails like they did with Galatrix. So, I trust them to do this game right. I plan on doing a BiiF the week it comes out.

I didn't actually mind Galactrix's core gameplay all that much. What killed me was that it was so damn mini-game happy.

I didn't actually mind Galactrix's core gameplay all that much. What killed me was that it was so damn mini-game happy.
Yeah that facet basically murdered the game, although the random element was WAY higher with having pieces fall from every direction. I prefer the top down version where at least I half-way believe that my shit isn't going to go "full-off-screen-retard-combo-from-all-angles" when I have the PC on the ropes. |
