My varsity F13 team is a trainwreck. Drew Brees is the ONLY place I'm getting regular points - every one else is like half his points over the season or less. And he's not even having a good year. My JV team isn't nearly as bad because I have Boldin instead of Colston.

Fuck the Jaguars holding Manning to 23 and Collie to 12. Fuck Santana Moss and his 5 rushing yards...yeah that was it. Screw Murphy and his one bad game on the day I give him a shot, and wtf Michael bush and Housh for finally coming alive while on the bech Ohhhhh, I see.

Also, screw TO and his 35 points.

I would have enjoyed my Sunday, even with a bad loss and losing 1st place, if the Bears hadn't gotten their asses handed to them, but nope, that didn't come through for me either. I'm calling shenanigans.

My top RB went down in week 2, two of my 3 receivers are a bust, my third receiver is out with an injury for who knows how long.  The only bright spots I have are my QB and a defense I picked up on the waiver wire.  This is going to be a LONG season.

On the bright side, my bad draft in this league taught me a bunch and I'm doing well in my money league.  Yay!

Held on by the skin of my teeth last night.  Sure is nice being at the top!

I'm trying to enjoy it now because it won't last.  LeSean breaking his rib is brutal.  Just like Vick's injury boned me in my other league.  The Eagles need a new trainer.

This post makes me want to squeeze into my badass red jeans.

Heh, I thought I'd screwed myself by playing Seattle's D over Miami's when Seattle got their asses kicked by the fucking RAMS. Then New England drops 41 on Miami. Ok, never mind then. I still lost.

As of Week 4, here are the Varsity squad Top 3 first round draft pick fantasy busts so far:

1 - Shonn Greene - 38th in RB points
2 - Ryan Mathews - 37th in RB points
3 - Ray Rice - 27th in RB points

Here are the top 3 Draft Steals:

1 - Kyle Orton - Round 11, 5th in total fantasy points
2 - Mark Sanchez - Round 13, 9th in total fantasy points
3 - Austin Collie - Round 10, #1 WR in total points

Food for thought.

I just can't figure out wtf is up with Rice. He was a beast last year. I am guessing they are trying to throw to the WRs more this year, which steals touches from him. Not sure that is the best plan with Flacco just yet- he still seems like he is learning.

My year so far has been disasterous.   For Bat Country, my top two players are a tight end and a player I haven't started yet.  For the JV team, it's Culter, who went backwards this week, and Jahvid Best, who was on the bench for his huge week.

Just awful, awful teams, but I've done better with worse starts.  This year I just haven't been able to keep up with the waver wire and went in with a pretty poor understanding of the personnel situations in the league.  Oh well, just part of being busy.

Sorry I didn't get back to whomever sent a trade request to the Bloodsuckers in the Varsity league that was ignored until withdrawn, I've been out of town.

Really struggled on which D to start so went with the home team so of course the Atlanta D puts up 20 points.

A massive 43 points.  This is less than half the teams projected scores.  I can understand one or two having bad days on any given Sunday but that's supposed to be countered by one or two having good days on any given Sunday.

But for the entire team to have a bad day?  Really?

My team was due to perform.  My players have generally all been below expectations.  I was a genius to pull Shaun Hill off waivers, though. Admit it!

I think I love my FF team.

Philip Rivers is a stud, and he always performs.
Roddy White is rock solid
T.O. is having a revival
Zach Miller overachieves every game.
Ray Rice woke the fuck up, finally.
Defense has put up points when I needed them (Pittsburgh is my main D, except for this week).
Kickers...keep on kicking I guess?

My problem children are Percy Harvin (who apparently will not develop into a major force anytime soon), Pierre Thomas, who is injured too much and doesn't get called on enough anyway.  Jonny Knox hasn't done anything either.  Did manage to pick up McFadden, who is a good bench option (gave me lots of points a week or two ago).  Got Kyle Orton locked away on the bench, too, for a rainy day.

To sum up my day: Manning + Collie combined couldn't even put up 20 points and were outscored by Garrard  Ohhhhh, I see.

New low today for me in the JV league.  Apparently I forgot to sub out Cutler.  I remember doing so, however, as I did in the main league.

Main league comes down to LT +4 points v. Jets D.  I'm about 60% confident I'll be able to pull out another subpar win.

I should rename my main Bat Country team as 1 QB 7 Sucking Black Holes. My team is awful. Marion Barber is a goddamn wasteland of no points. My wideouts are sub-10 usually sub-5 point performances. My kicker is scoring more than most of my team. Fuck's sake. But then I look at the scores of other games and scores are down all over the place. What the hell? Only two games with more than 100 points for the winning team?

JV is a little better, but not much. At least I have a winning record, and Boldin and Fitzgerald usually together make 1 whole WR. Hopefully Santonio Holmes ends up with good points tonight but I'm not counting on it. Thankfully, I don't need him to win.

100pts with the V-league roster size is a good outing and not to be expected every week.

Best/Worst part was the meaningless unnecessary sack in the last minute to put it over the top. Thanks Brett!
