We are the Reapers. We reside in the unexplored region referred to as dark space, the empty, starless space between galaxies. We hibernate there, dormant for thousands of years, before we are given the signal to return.

You're making me install GalCivII again. Which I want to avoid doing because last time I downloaded stardock's software I had to format and reinstall Windows.

We are relentless. Seizing our initiative. Our fleet moved on to their poor colony at Schwing system. Their fleet retreated upon seeing us.

Schwing has no strategic nor economic value.

Contact established with Psilon empire. Physically weak due to their Low Gravity homeworld, the Psilons are creative researches, capable of unlocking all possible applications of research field. Dangerous if left alone for too long.

The Bulrathi meager fleet retreated once more when engaged at the Bier System.

The end of the Bulrathi Empire is nigh.

We need to move faster if we want to take advantage of this momentum.

Who shall we reap next?

Two more contacts achieved with other galactic races.

The telepathic Elerians are capable space combatants and employ mind control on defenseless colonies. Their feudal government impede their progress, however.

Records indicate that the Gnolam empire is an excellent merchant race, relying on trade to propel their growth and cover their low gravity weaknesses. Otherwise they are completely unremarkable and should be left for last.

But first, the Psilons must fall.

Stardate 3521.4
Our fleet arrives at Mentar System, homeworld of the Psilons.

We must rebuild. Quickly.

A Prelude to Victory.

The captured denizens of Psilon's Capital City watch in horror as their sister colony, Mentar Prime burned to the ground on their indoctrination holovids.

We merely gave it a merciful end.

Admiral Grum is satisfied with our technological advances, he claims our ground troops have no equal with his training and technological augments.

Stardate 3524.2

Psilon mining colony of Pistrix captured.

Additional tech. data seized.

The Psilons make their last stand at Stalaz system.

Contact established with humans. Charismatic organics, capable of forming trade deals and research with almost any race. Many great officers and leaders wish to serve under their Democratic Leadership.

They may prove to be a challenging enemy later. The fleet sets its sight to the Alkari controlled space instead.

New defenses devised.

New weapon created.

Sorry to disappoint you, bro. But I remembered why, I think the game crashed when I start capturing enemy ships in combat.

I'll make it up to you one day, it sounds quite epic.
