Good game, not particularly worth paying for unless you're really into kinda sorta but not paying attention to music.

It's an extremely mediocre game with sort of a cool gimmick.  I got bored with it pretty quickly.

I think it's pretty fun.  I keep it installed and I'll usually give it a whirl when I grab some new music or have a song stuck in my head.  It also ran well on my cheap-o laptop so I played the shit out of it when I was taking the train/bus around to conferences and the like.

I don't think it's a great game, but it's definitely worth the $5 to experience your music in a different way.

I picked it up for $2.50 when it went on sale shortly after it came out and everybody was raving about it. I'm not sure I got my money's worth, honestly but it was cheap enough that it fell into WGAF territory. Don't think I would pay $5 for it though...

I think it is okay and entertaining in an unambitious sort of way, even more so if you get it at a discount price. Gameplay, in case you wonder, is like a mix of Guitar Hero and Tetris and Wipeout, if that makes any sense. You glide around and hit colored bricks to form rows of the same color, and the shape of the track you glide on is decided by a song you can freely choose from your music library.

The main problem with the game, if you are an ambitioned gamer, is that there is no real way of "mastering" the game per se because the game constantly "changes" due to track switching. Yes, you can master every particular song, however if you want to do this with 1000+ songs it gets boring quick. Imagine guitar hero with a track list as long as your music library, you would lose interest in the progress pretty quick.

Playing it for a quick round or two inbetween is good, albeit frugal entertainment - good for boring office days or something - but at the end you'll see an online high-score list telling you how much you really sucked.

My daughters sure love it though, especially the "smash the colored bricks" part!
