Ye I'm new, but really enjoyed these forums since Warhammer Online came out and everyone here was bashing it to shreds. Ah well, any idea when LoL is "supposed" to come out or when the NDA might be lifted ? Really looking forward to it since DoTa Allstars really brings the limitations of the WarIII engine to the fore.

With the SC2 Map editor, looks like the SC2 Dota may be quite epic if Starcraft II ever gets released.

We are loosening the NDA to allow discussion of all elements of League of Legends.
As of now, you are now allowed to talk or write about the game with no restrictions.
You are still not allowed to post pictures or videos.
With this announcement, we encourage you to start writing blogs, posting comments on articles, recording podcasts and discussing League of Legends on your favorite external forums.
We also encourage everyone to correct any misinformation you see in discussions going forward.

If you like good games in general (I tried to make a list of what games are like LoL/DoTA but it's hard to describe. Maybe Diablo crossed with a RTS.) you owe it to yourself to give this game a try. I have been in beta for something like two months and it has been very solid with lots of great dev feedback and followthrough. Oh and it will be free (no box cost) + microtrans so really you can't lose. I expect schild to froth upon it in short order. Edit:Yeah, I missed the new subforum... |
