Leveling is easy (hence the 80 levels, they are easier than other games to achieve), there's plenty of content and not so much group-only stuff. Plus, if you are into PvP, casual pew pew can be lots of fun. I'd say yes, big yes. But I'm a fanboi.

Wow, big update. I've been thinking of resubbing just to see how it looks on my new system. Of course I just did a Station Pass for the same reason and spent more time installing the games than I spent logged into them.

OK. So! You get one level 50 character if you have another level 50 anywhere. You can pick any server. I'll post the PVP server I've been playing on and whoever comes back, we can do it there. Word lyfe.

There has been around 5 or so dungeon revamp and new additions added to the game since launch that hit helped fill the mid-level content gap. The new playfield added in the update helps caps it off with the 70-80 progression. Thus there is a good amount of solo and group encounters from 30-70 now for you guys jumping back into the game.

The update in it's whole has a major RPG overhaul which means updates to character statistics, items, abilities with classes, and crafting (gem revamp). This means we helped address the itemization issues and stat issue with affecting characters among other things.

Hey Famine, if you are a Funcom guy, can you tell me where the character transfers are. I found the link in the announcements forum, but when I follow the link I dont see any transfer option.

Also. You guys really should put it in big letters in the character creation screen:

YOU ONLY GET ONE FREE LEVEL 50. MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO USE IT.

I have heard a ton of people not knowing its a one time use option.

I'm not Famine, but if you're on the Euro-servers, you can find the character transfer option if you click "View my subscription" on the https://register.ageofconan.com/account-page, and then scroll to the bottom where you'll then see an option for the free character transfers to low-population German, Spanish and French servers. I'm not sure if it's available on the US servers yet.

Well I've got about 20 days of spare time and a little spare cash, so I may come check this out. I'll be rolling lvl 1 as I never got to 50. Will post name after reinstalling - so tomorrow

I am still debating between ToS and HoX. Its almost a shame to play a caster in AoC cause of the good melee combat, now that there are no more 5 swing combos.

I was grouped with a level 22 caster earlier that was soloing level 18 three-horn epic mobs.

I mean, what? Anyway, he was a tempest of set. Almost makes me want to remake my Priest of Mitra. In fact, I think I will.
