OMG OMG OMG OMG

Xanthipe wins the duel and gains 32 experience points. stu304 did not carry any cash and Xanthipe walks away without taking any money.

Ok so he's only level 28 but still.  Besides, he brought it.  First duel I've ever won.

What was your hookup for the shoes?  I've sent telegrams to two towns that have them and they're both ignoring me.

I was just KO'd by a guy called Wuuk from one of the Eagle Towns. I see they're allied with the Coppers. Looks like the crybabies called for help again.

I get hit randomly from people every time my immunity is up.  I'm not sure they called for help, rather it's just the game being played.

Oh man, the charlatan set is awesome.  Shotgun Joan just duelled me and LOST.  And I don't even have the elixir yet; I was jobbing for it at the time.  The job itself is also awesome, even awesomer than silver mining.

I got KO'd by him as well and I'm nearly 10 lvls under him; 30 minutes after a Copper attacked.  I carried no money, was in town, and he gained 20xp.   Ohhhhh, I see.
Eagles is clear on the other side of the map.  I find it hard to believe he was here just for shyts and giggles.  But, whateva.  Smart play.

Seems like a good timing for a new town.  Should some money farmer and builder move and develop an other town?  Would be nice to see some new loot.

I reckon we should focus on building our town at least til we make the cutoff point for a large fort, then we can name the county Bat Country.

I want to find the fucker who wrote the 'need 8 wood planks' and 'need 10 wood planks' quests and shove a lumber mill up his ass. Nothing like spending the rest of my natural born life gaining 9 XP an hour AND NOT GETTING ANY WOOD DROPS. I could be hunting grizzly bears for fun and profit, but I wanted to bang out a couple of quests. In short, I am a moron.

I finally opened up the "clear the forest" job a little while back, so if they ever add any more wood-fetching quests I'm well-set.   DRILLING AND MANLINESS

I'm still around. Just on auto-pilot until Forts get in. The grind is soul-crushing but fun (?).

I finally got enough skill points to do my Lv. 30 quest that requires Trading with Indians for 9 hours.

We're still here, I think the town is all level 3 (except the hotel, still at 2).  The wife says she's xping at the moment but promises to start building again soon.

I think that means when I get off my fat ass and put some more money in the bank.  Damn woman, always spending up my cash.  I'm not joking either, she just blew 5k on bedroom furniture.

(...at least that wasn't the only thing she blew...)

I know we talked about it a bit in chatzy, but I think it would be a good idea to send schild and bloodworth to Trammel if they're willing.  That way we still have a couple builders in BC to finish off the last few levels.  I imagine schild and bloodworth would make short work of the newb trammel stuff, and it would be useful te get a couple new rolls on medium level gear.

Any word on what resources are required to build forts? Been stockpiling wood for a bit hoping its a required material.

This picture is all the resources used in forts, though it doesn't show the number needed.

Fort Resources

A lot of them are from fairly high end jobs. I think there's some advantages to waiting and then building a second town near the fort we want to capture. That gives us a base to work from when we're attacking / defending / building it.

I can start saving those resources on the list that I get often (beaver traps, etc).

Oh, shit. I've been selling those. Well now I know to save them...

Planars, Beaver Traps, Lassos, Maps, and Toolboxes are stuff I can get easily. I've actually obtained access to several 60% item jobs that are giving me some ridiculously good items.

You are just lucky one of those lethal oranges didn't fall on your head.

I managed to get myself KO'ed breaking horses. Some jackass attacked me while I was doing it and lowered my HP, then I fell of the horse and took 293 damage. Now I have to wait 48 hours before I can farm people for XP  Heartbreak

Ok, so she finished Trammel tailor 4.  Grey shirt, green shirt, big whoop.  Got the fancy slouch hat too, but BC already has that.

So, nothing worthwhile.

Late to the party here…

Have a level 6 toon named Trimble…

Any tips on leveling up, best character class (or better, pitfalls and recommendations on the paths and what attribute/skills to boost)?

Depends on what you want to do. Combat/Construction/cash generation or a mix of whatever. The game heavily favors extreme specialization. There is also a BC on world 5 if you want to play on two worlds so you can test multiple roles out.

Thanks!
