Let's try and hang on to this new guy.  They always end up running off, yelling abuse at us.  I don't mind the abuse but I hate the running off.  Thejeni, grunk, etc.  I miss them all.  These guys, though, remind me of Shadowbane politics, which was lovely, except this is a browser game and I keep forgetting about it.  Oh well.  Anyway, we should use Obama as an example and be nice to people who want to kill us, right?

I'm not sure but I think the new guy likes to LARP. Why don't you LARP with him Signe? That would make him feel accepted and welcome. And I know that F13 is all about the acceptance and welcoming.

Oh I'm assuming he's a Copper. Probably not Joan Collins or DirtyBirdy though as neither of his messages have contained the word "poop."

I'm going to guess this is Joan Collins.

Falconeer. Are you lefteye?

Ah, seems like lefteye is a common name for him so I'll add him.

Lv. 35 TONIGHT! Got two saddles in a 2 hour period at 8% each. I wonder if the bonus for adventurer is +20% to get the product or +20% the base percentage (10% becomes 12%) to get the item.

Then hopefully I can get all these quests I have done and rock my way to some of that expensive equipment we have.

+20% of the base percentage, sadly.  It must be, or that damn flag quest would have gone a lot faster.

I've actually had really good luck with the saddle thing; I think we swapped karma on that one, Lore, since I was hosed so bad for so long on the effin flag.

(btw, don't sell them all.)

Has anyone looked at the map near town?  There are like dozens of noob characters running around.

Is this some kind of bait or something?

Oh god! THE NEWBS! THEY'RE COMING!  ACK!

I think the east side of the game is filling up to the point that the center areas are getting newbies now. We're going to see a rise in the number of player created towns in the area. Eventually it'll move to the west. When I started on World 7 (active for several months), I was started on the far west side of the world.

Lv. 35 brought me the God-Hand Whip (Fucking DOUBLE my previous damage), massive amounts of free XP, and lots of money. Now I just gotta run three grids away (with 206% speed) to do more quests.

Also, there is a quest named "Holy shit". Awesome.

I'm ready to duel me some Copper mother fuckers. Just call me Dr. Jones.

My protection is up. If I can attack their high level guys, I'll go and see what I can make happen. Mr. Whip wants to say hi.

Mine's also up.  Currently fitfully sleeping.  Give me a target in the next 10 minutes and I'll strike.  Otherwise, I have to go out for dinner and I'll delay my deliverance of suffering for a few hours.

hmm I'm kinda wary about taking dueling quests after losing $350 to NPC quest. Perhaps I should pump my shooting skills before attempting it again? I'm only level 14 at the moment.

Just keep an eye on your hit points so you don't accidentally kill yourself. The NPC doesn't change his attacks or defenses so you should be able to win a fight eventually just by adjusting yours.

Edit: Make sure you hit Refresh after each duel. For a lot of people hit points don't change properly unless you do.

It's behind the town-info spash screen on the left. Cancel the thing with the f13 flag and you'll see the bank and the church.

Took me about a week to figure where the bank and church were too myself, the town popup is terribly placed.

Hey tough guy,

Do you feel better attacking a builder? Don't you think it's time to let it go? Either that or why not use the 12 minutes a day you are awake attacking someone for more experience?

DirtyBirdy    Today at 15:26
lol...see you got knocked out. I guess you picked on the wrong player...good stuff.

Oh, and I saw that I took down 400 of your health. I would not try to build anything in the near future, you might get attacked again.

Yes, I am nice like that.

I hope this will actually stop him from starting to build again.  awesome, for real
