I like Qui-Gon "Loose Cannon" Jinn.

edit to add: This has the only good version of Jar-Jar in existence.

My favorite is toward the end, where Qui-Gon lays dying after being struck down by Darth Maul, and says to Obi-Wan "I think for my next character I'll build a ninja."

I'm lovin this comic. The one where 'little sister' Jar Jar explains how 'he' looks is great.

The LOTR version is the DM keeping the party in line no matter what. Star Wars is what happens when the players run roughshod over the DM.

I wasted many hours at work reading DM of the Rings. It's very good. His little commentaries about running D&D campaigns are also very amusing - even to a non P&P player like myself.  Thanks for this link.

I read Dm of the Rings a year or so ago, and was linked to Darths and Droids from the failed followup to DMotR back in the day.

Both great ways to waste spend some time.  awesome, for real

Don't skip reading the commentaries, either.   They hold some nuggets or explaination as well.

Just looked them up, nope.  We've got Whoppers though which look about the same.  I'm sure there's a significant difference like HFC or the type of chocolate, though.

You're missing a real treat.

On topic, I'm reading most of the rest of this comic now and it's just really funny stuff.  I would queue at the cinema to see THIS movie as opposed to what it was based on.

Further, the wee asides down the bottom are really entertaining also !

British chocolate is bad, very very bad. But it's 100 times LESS bad than American chocolate  swamp poop

Anyway, /divert. I'm now about 1/4 the way through the Star Wars ones, loving them, bringing back so many fond (and not-so-fond) memories of RPG'ing  awesome, for real

Chocoderail!

I looked up the Whoppers site after my post to see if there was an ingredient difference. (which they don't list on their site...just the nutrition panel) They're apparently made by Hershey's now, but were originally by a Swedish company in the 50s and then owned by Leaf until Hershey's bought-out Leaf in the 90's.   So, yeah, it's definitely the chocolate.   I might have to hunt down some online confectioners to see if we can import Malteers. I like a good malted milk ball once in a while.

LOTR keeps playing up that "unexpectedly kill someone" joke, and I keep laughing at it.
