I've got 75 sandals I can send you, and I throw in 25 leather to fill the boat.  I can do more leather if you need it.  Not a big deal to fill a second boat since we're nearby.

-Added note functionality to allies (you can attach a note to an ally to help keep track of things, e.g., "trading sculpture for jewelry 1:1")
-Added "replied" flag to scrolls, so you can easily tell which scrolls you've replied to
-4th city costs added (will likely have significant tweaks)
-Inactive cities are now deleted every 5 days
-Gods will now request greater amount of goods after each blessing
-Added ability to delete your account
-The amount of kohl, oil, etc that come into play when upgrading brickworks and shops have been increased.

This seems harsh: -Inactive cities are now deleted every 5 days
Unless inactive means they aren't producing anything? What if yer on vacation for 6 days?

I'll be expanding my empire later tonight. I'm looking at the list of resources and it seems like we have a decent mix of various people harvesting various resources. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking leather since sandals seem really important later on when they put military units in. I'm willing to settle anywhere though.

So, I'm seeing a lot of people saying that they're planning on leather for their next city, and that's actually the way I was heading as well.  Are we going to see an oversupply of leather in another couple days?

IMO the people who have half the materials for a two-piece luxury good (perfume, cosmetics, jewelry) should be aiming at being able to produce mass amounts of that good without needing to trade for the materials.  I don't know if you've seen the requirements for third cities yet, but we're all going to need a LOT of ALL of that shit, not just sandals.

Those of us who have "singleton" resources (cedar, leather, bronze) don't have that option, but we can get up and running in another singleton pretty easily.  Hence my plan to go with leather, since I currently have cedar.  It sounds like Rasix has the same idea.  And Jamiko already has leather, which will make three of us in the north area.  That should be enough to supply everyone.  But if the henna and emerald merchants all also go for leather, we're going to have way too many sandals and not nearly enough cosmetics/perfume/jewelry.

I'm mostly talking to people who are getting set to found their second city.  There's a LONG gap between founding your second city and your third city, it looks like, so whatever resources we have once we all have two cities is all we're going to have access to within our group for a long time.  I'd like to avoid having to deal with other random asshats for my cosmetics needs if possible.

I haven't even really thought too far ahead regarding a 2nd city. Mostly I am happy cranking out leather and sandals and trading them to you folks for whatever. It's enough for me right now. For the greater good and all that.
