I'd been considering leather (my god wants sandals) and I'm currently producing cedar.  I'm still a few days from my second city, so mostly, I've been focusing on converting as much cedar as possible to other rares mostly because I might as well take advantage of my ever expanding fleet.

I think we may have problems with cosmetics and perfume, I've gone bronze with my second city as the temple at my main city wants sculptures and I want to show my devotions.  If someone isn't sure perhaps about going for henna/oil/kohl to churn out perfume and cosmetics I will be happy to sponser the move (I'll donate the sandals and sculpture for the city build and what else I can) and fill all trades with jewelry and sculpture, gold, bronze, cedar for whatever you have whether I need it right away or not.

I'm currently churning out perfume, but I slowed down my production due to lack of a reliable source of Henna.  Think Schild is also working on perfume, or was a few days ago.  If anyone needs perfume for upgrades, let me know and I'll send you some though.

Something to bear in mind is once armies are in, people are going to need more cedar and bronze and leather. Those could be good nest eggs...unless they wipe shortly before they add armies.

I can spare up to 50 sandals right now, if anyone wants to trade; the usual 3:1 for simple resources, 1:1 for compound stuffs.

Yeah, I won't go leather anymore... I am thinking something noone would ever choose....like oil (isnt used in shit, even upgrades). Henna sounds nice cause it is used in both perfume and cosmetics. Whichever I need I can just find the other part and get making it.

I'm thinking of Henna for my second city.  That will give me a base for Perfume and Cosmetics, while my Leather production lets me trade for the luxuries I need.

There's a nice spot 10 north of my first city for this.  If I expand it's market to rank 5 like my first city, then I cover 20 squares of local markets.

No thanks. I'm actually doing pretty well on henna at the moment. Some other non-F13 dude sends me 100 henna everyday and I send him 100 oil. So, I have perfume burning a hole in my pocket.

Feet!  I don't know what I'm doing right now.  I ran out of space so I'm expanding the warehouse.  I finally have a few ships.  I'm making some bronze, bricks, baskets and sculptures right now.
