Cartman's always been vile, but for a while now he's been used by Matt & Trey as the voice of crazy right-wing America. He's Fox News, Glenn Beck, Michelle Bachmann, Ted Cruz, the Tea Party, Rush Limbaugh, Mitt Romney all rolled into one.

So yeah, he's evil, through & through.

Season is good so far, I'm impressed by just how many apposite references they manage to fit in each show.

That's one of the type of South Park shows where Matt and Trey are making a point, not really making as much making comedy. I mean they are doing comedy but it's not as funny as it was them sticking it to people that make money off addictive behavior.

The Canadian Devil had me laughing though. Beezleboot.

The hints towards previous episodes are neat too. And done with all the subtlety of a "OMG! They killed Kenny!" joke.

The entire drinking advertisement and drinking habit part was spot on. Randy "I am not having a glass of wine. I am having six, it's called a wine tasting and it's classy!" Marsh reminded me of something my English teacher said:

"A lady doesn't order a Halbe [pint] beer at a bar. She orders a Seiterl [2/3 pint] and then later another. And then another and another..."

I joke with my friends all the time about watching people play games instead of playing games. It's insane.

But entertainment is different for different people. My parents though playing video games was insane.

I tried watching some Markiplier, but it's really not for me.  The overreacting, bad voices, and overall sense that I'm wasting my fucking time tend to grate on me.  However, I've found Let's Plays are pretty useful for games you want to know more about but have no intention of ever playing.  Pretty much like every single horror game out there.  Which, of course, brings you back to these sorts.  

I'm pretty sure my nephews are all into this shit. But, they did want games for Christmas, so they're not totally gone.

I say this all with the caveat that I watch LoL streaming quite regularly, but I can't really play that at work or while I'm supposed to be paying attention to my son, can I?

I get the idea of let's plays. There are games I want to see some of as a buying decision. I hate the personalities of the people doing them though.

This entire season has been amazing. Freemium (especially the last second of the episode) was fantastic, and Cock Magic was hilarious.

Randy has many talents! Does that make him anti-Homer or uber-Homer?

I'll watch Purge play DOTA, but that's just because Purge is Purge and I don't have the patience to play DOTA.

South Park seems to have caught on that the viewers like the topical mixed with a weird sort of continuity in character development throughout the season. It's enjoyable and odd.

There were many good jokes in the season finale, good "celebrity" cameo at the end, good build-up to the conclusion -- but then it fell flat in an unsatisfying resolution. They had too many concurrent threads going that they just had to wrap up as quickly as possible and handwave the rest.

That was the first time I watched SP in a long time... I think I got disgusted long ago with the gerbil episode. :D

It seems like PC Principal is a mainstay now? And poor Kyle lost.
