I'm expecting total crap, but here's to hoping it's a TINY BIT decent.

Thanks.  I never know when something good might be one.  I'm absent minded with tv.  Anyway,  it LOOKS kind of cool so I'll set it up to record.  It would be nice if it were good.  They always fool us with the trailers though, don't they?   Ohhhhh, I see.

When it was a free web series I watched some.

I think I saw 2 episodes before Amanda Tapping's British accent drove me off.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Watched the first two TV episodes and I liked it quite a bit.

It's like hellboy with a cute blonde.

Amanda Tapping > Emilie Ullerup

or...

Brunette Carter > random cute blonde

I'm undecided. Took all of 30 seconds for me to recognize that it was a local production (plus the address that came up on the cops scanner was an actual downtown Vancouver address). Would have been nice if the green screening didn't look quite so blatant.

I may watch a little more just to play spot the locations and local bit actors I know.

I DVR'd it and watched about half so far.  Amanda Tapping is AWFUL!  She needs to go to Pep Boys and take more acting classes!

I watched about a half hour. I like Tapping, but the accent wasn't good.

And green screen-only productions need to fucking go away. I spend half the time noticing the light not matching up, and there is nothing for actors to play off. It's atrocious. I'd rather watch 1963 Dr Who.

God, no, not 1963.  Bleh.  1974, maybe!

Having recently watched the first three or four story arcs, Hartnell is my favorite doctor. I wish they had left him as cranky as he was in the original shooting of the pilot, which they reshot and really messed up the characters imo.

But the library doesn't have any more Dr Who until the crappy new stuff, and I'm not paying $$ for the DVDs I'd watch once, so it's a moot point.

Anyway, 63, 74, the point remains. Cheesy real sets are better than CGI green screen crap. Buncha fucking talking mimes.

I'm about 15 minutes from the end of the first episode - the two hour one. I don't think I'll keep watching after this. Tapping didn't bother me, but the rest felt like "creepy-style X-Files 101." The main doctor character bugged me, the blonde was typical anime-inspired young hottie that can kick your ass and the only interesting guy was the computer geek. I just find nothing interesting about the whole production.

Just to tack a post-script to my mini rant about the production.

I watched all of the first episode now and part of the second.  Not going to bother anymore.  This show, and everyone in it, is complete and utter shitey shite shite.

my wife wants to keep watching just for David Hewlett and Paul McGillion to show up, which they are expected to do.  But yeah I stopped watching.  If the show was wall to wall Todd (Christopher Heyerdal) I'd eat it up.  But it's pretty bad.

It's alright.

I'd rank it just below Eureka and just above Ewoks: the Battle For Endor

Well, I've been following the show and I decided that the last episode was going to be the last for me. But then it won itself an extension with boner jokes.

Oh well.
