Ok, I feel like a noob but I need to ask.

When I look at this stuff at home, it fits my screen. Here at work, if you guys post big pictures it doesn't fit the screen and just sort of disappears off of the edge of the screen with no scroll bars or anything. Sooo...is there some setting I need to change that I've missed? With Schild's pics for instance I saw a little bit of flesh on the left sides of their bodies, but not enough to really even know what I was looking at.

Need to know the browsers and desktop resolutions you are using. E.g. Opera has a "fit to width" option which will automatically scale down images that are wider than the browser window width.

IE7. I tend to go with 1024x768 at work and home simply because I'm too lazy to resize icons and too old to see them when they're small.

Though in trying to think of anyone else I know who is, I'm drawing a blank.  Everyone is either brunette or blue eyed.

I don't know about super rare.. I see these girls enough (maybe because I'm looking for them as well).. but this is a genetic explanation for some rarity (the article is referring to black hair with blue eyes, but it applies in the reverse, I guess?).

blue eyes and blonde hair both come from having less of a pigment called eumelanin. This is just something the two traits have in common—they are not because of the same gene.

The genes for each of these traits determines where and how much of the pigment will be made, not if it will be made anywhere in the body. In other words, the hair color gene determines how much eumelanin will be in your hair and the eye color gene how much will be in the front of your eye.

The geneticist may have also been referring to the fact that the two traits usually do travel together. Black hair and blue eyes is a much more rare combination than is blonde hair and blue eyes.

The reason why these two traits are linked is that the genes responsible for hair and eye color happen to be close together on the same chromosomes. When genes like these are close together, the traits tend to end up coming in pairs (blonde hair/blue eyes, etc.).
