Irises are amazing, so beautiful :)  The big reflections of his gridded flash annoy me a bit and I wish he'd tried for a bit more variety. I tried photographing my own eye once.. really difficult, mostly because of focus! This was the best I got (spoilered for grossness):

Irises are not beautiful, they're awful!  ACK!  I feel like that character in the old Bradbury story who realized with horror that he had bones inside of him so he had them all removed. GET THIS IRIS OUT OF MY EYES.

Robin but no Batman?  Ronald McDonald as standard bearer is too ironic to stand.

Who are the yellow guys meant to be, though?

They tried to pick the person based on the look of the soldiers.  No one made a good Batman.  The Robin is a stretch, but it was easier to imagine.

It's pretty clever.

Cant figure out who the yellow and blue guy (between Santa and Joker) is supposed to be.  And they should have painted the all yellow guy green instead (like the classic plastic toy soldier).

It is.  Note the three patches on his hands at the knuckles.  That's the metal sheaths on his gloves from that era of costume.

Yeah, i couldnt tell if those were paint, or just a light reflection.  I guess it was the odd shape of the head that threw me, the costume would look about right for Wolverine.

Saw that picture in Time the other day. It claimed the yellow guy was The Mask?

I think the photographer has a real future.

Man, I know we're not supposed to anthropomorphize animals really, but that picture/story makes it goddamn impossible not to.

I think its okay to anthropomorphize primates cause you know, we are distant cousins and all that. They are likely still evolving.

Now, what kills me is when people anthropomorphize a dumb animal.......like cats..... why so serious?
