They are a fairly old species, dating back to the dinosaurs, yes. Here's an article debunking a spam mail, but with the facts on the real fish used in it. 8' 2" long and 245 pounds. Wiki page. I had forgotten their swim bladder doubles as a pair of lungs. So they can breath air or water. Dad and I used to go night fishing for them, which was a lot of fun as they'll put up a good fight. They'd also congregate under some of the bridges in town. If you shone a light into the water there would be scores of them swimming about. |
