Reminds me of a Sci Fi short story I read once called "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex".   I think the title is pretty self explanatory.

Nice find.

He had some other pretty good short stories / pseudo-scientific ramblings in that book as well.

 swamp poop

As a matter of fact I swallowed one of these about two hours ago and the explanation is that it is, in fact, my hand.

I think everybody should pay back everybody else at the rate of $10 an hour and then see what happens to the world's economy.

511 billion, at 10$ an hour.   5,833,333 years for Italy to pay back France?  Yep, that would work.

Wasn't there a Three Stooges bit where Larry owed Moe $60, Moe owed Curly $60, and Curly owed Larry $60, then someone gave them a $20 bill, and they just passed it around the circle until they all decided they were paid up?  swamp poop

I think the artist thought process went something like.

"Ok the main guy should be punching a raptor yeah! Also be holding a hot babe on his side. Hmm, he should probably also have a gun too..."

From the AP... It looks almost too perfect.

Halliburton hole punch.

how the hell are they going to plug a 65m deep hole that looks  hmm ~200' wide in the middle of a city.  That is the most fantastic looking sinkhole I have ever seen.

Maybe if we nuke the hole it'll collapse into something easier to fill.  Worth a shot at least.

Ok, so, what about the betting agencies? What will come out of that shitzomg hole? (impressive, by the way, it reminds me of a Lovecraft short story, "The Transition of Juan Romero")

Nothing less than the beast in Cloverfield will suffice... unless its godzilla him/herself.   awesome, for real

But seriously... that hole is way too perfect and way too huge to be real right? People can piss and poke around with oil in the gulf, crazy middle east shit, world cup whatever, but when a hole to middle earth pops up - it wins my attention. Bring on the Balrog.
