I wonder how much of the average populace would even understand what it means?  It's probably a relatively small group.  Of nerds.

For that particular tag, you may be correct. However, for OMG WTF and the like... too many txting bunnies to not know what some of that means.

Also in PA, I believe WTF is not allowed - god damn Quakers.

Sadly, I wasn't fast enough on the camera. I wanted to roll down my window and shout "The sport of kings!" It was so random but so wonderful.

I actually saw the car in California that got the 1234567 license plate at a gas station once.  I felt special.

That looks like the headless horseman, riding a bear, about to throw a flaming pumpkin at a very aggressive manatee.

I got a Centaur holding a spear over his head being charged by a bear.  But, yeah, very nice.

I had a tough time deciding if this belonged in the funny or awesome pictures thread.  I'm putting it here because even if it is somewhat funny its an awesome job on the costume.

The watermellon thing is actually pretty common.

I remember takeing one of those greenhouse boat tours in the Eco Science area at Disney Land and they were using the same kind of technique to grow Tomatoes and Squash in the shape of Mickey Mouse heads.

That is super. I wonder how many other little ones actually know who Jareth is. Hell, I bet not many of my old friends would know...
