I thought that at first too, but his right hand having only 4 fingers makes me think that's not what they were going for - but who knows.
It would have helped if they drew him with five fingers, but the idea is the 11-point system lets them detect anyone with 11 "digits".  Thus all the other flags.  I'm guessing that is the artist's normal style, so there is a disconnect for those of us who don't follow the comic.

(It still works, really.  The 8-fingered man wouldn't show up either.)

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

At least now I know never to visit that webcomic for its humor.

The joke is buries so deeply in that picture that I didn't get the reference until you spelled it out.

"Prepare to die" is not exactly obscure.  That doesn't make it funny though.

"You killed my father, prepare to die" is not obscure.  "Prepare to die" could be a reference to every comic book villain of the last 60 years.

I was kinda intrigued by the Meet & Greet package, but it didn't provide enough details, like how long it was, how many tickets being sold, etc.

Randomly woke up early this morning to find them on sale. I bought 2 tickets to the Austin show, pretty geeked about it.

There are a couple closer for me, but it's basically 4-5 hours either way (NYC or Toronto).

I grew up about 45minutes from the Point.  It can be a scary damn place to be on a nice summer day, at the top of a roller coaster and you start to see storms rolling in off the lake.  By the time you're off the coaster the rain is starting...  lightning and all that. I can remember hiding in the Barenstein Bears exhibit at one point because of how heavy the storms can be.  And how fast they roll in is simply amazing.  Nice pic, though.

Same. Spent the better part of my summers at the Point from the time I could drive to college. Season Passes were an auto Xmas gift. Getting caught in a storm on a train with some chick I met at the park that day was just about the best day I ever had there... Or opening day when the Magnum debuted. Flip a coin.

Damn I miss riding the Magnum.  I grew up about 45 mins away, too, near Westlake in Cleveland. Good times.  I should drag the family up there this summer and see all the new shit they've added since I was last there.

Can we have a "This is not awesome, dumbass" thread where we can move all these posts like a mark of shame?

AT LEAST I AM (Attempting) TO POST IMAGES IN AN IMAGE THREAD

swamp poop

Also I fail to see how a Google Street View roadkill image was NOT awesome (although I admitted it might've been posted before).... OR why the fuck my image was targeted for removal, while an UN-funny, UN-awesome, shitty comic image was allowed to remain.

BTW, obligatory image, because I don't come to image threads to get into in depth discussions about Ohio, Conan on tour, or assorted other bullshit:

Nice Pic!

I think the other pic was a context thing though, your google pic should have gone in funny pictures thread.  It actually made me LOL in a guilty way, much the like the squirrel-a-pult pic I posted.  Not really an "awesome" picture, however.

I debated myself which thread to put it in, but I expected significantly more people to think it was not funny. My question still stands though, why some non-awesome pics remain and mine was removed. I'm gonna repost that image in the Funny thread, but expect it to also be removed.

I don't know if that has anything to do with Mass Effect but its definitely making my mass erect.
