Not dangerous my ass.  Have you ever thought about the fact that he'd have to get out of the hot tub if he actually bags anything and what this will mean for any unsuspecting people nearby?   ACK!

I'm almost glad my tire exploded on the way to school this evening, as otherwise I wouldn't have seen this after fixing it.

Edit: Yes, thats a Yorkie on the back seat.

Good thing he's got his safety orange hat on, wouldn't want another hunter to mistake him for a deer or something.

Anyway, I now aspire to someday hunt from my hot tub.  In a world where most extravagances are within the reach of an average person I believe this one is firmly in the grasp of only a very select few.

He needs to attach some anti-gravity plating so he can hunt from his hover-tub.

Blood Falls

Evolution FTW folks:

Quote
Researchers theorise that the microbes were trapped by the advancing glacier which eventually sealed them inside their habitat. The microbes have persisted in an extreme environment with no light, no oxygen, extreme cold, and high salinity. They are able to survive by liberating iron from the bedrock with the aid of a sulphur catalyst .

He's referring to a thread in there that is for posting awesome Vader pics.

Ahhhh. There are many strange corners of f13 I have yet to visit. It took me two years to get to the Politics forums. I figure in four or five more I might visit the MMO forums.

No, I was actually referring to the thread itself, when I was posting a Vader per page. I used a couple from that exhibit, if not that particular one.

For the first four times I saw that "blood falls" photo I actually thought it was some impressionistic painting. It looks very much like something Van Gogh would paint.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

That's pretty cool.  So the remotest places in the world (by their definition) are Greenland, Tibet, and big chunks of Indonesia.  Not intuitive.

Interesting, thanks for that. Stumbled from there to Wyatt Earp's page, which I think contains one of the best one-line curriculum vitaes ever:

"Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp was an American farmer, teamster, sometime buffalo hunter, officer of the law in various Western frontier towns, gambler, saloon-keeper, miner and boxing referee."

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Diablo 2's resolution caps out at 800x600. It's nigh unplayable on modern computers because of it.

There is a hack/mod out that allows higher resolutions in directdraw, but it's kinda flaky. Graphic glitches and fps below 25 at anything about 12xx x 8xx
