I love my TV an' hug my TV an' call it 'George'.

Agreed. I was ~this~ close to going that route instead of getting the FJ. Winter was the deciding factor, especially with the salted-to-fuck roads we're dealing with here. then again...

Oh man, that's tempting. Not sure what I would do with it, but I loves me some old FJs. Wife would kill me. Been trying for 4 years to let me by a 21 year old Buick, but so far no dice.

Winter was the deciding factor, especially with the salted-to-fuck roads we're dealing with here. then again...Have always thought about getting an old Scout or Bronco but don't currently have a large enough garage for upkeep (barely enough room for my '65 mustang that gets angry at me everytime I hop on my bike to go to work). My pops has an old Power Wagon ('46, I think) that I'll probably restore if he doesn't and I ever get my hands on it. Would love to do it for him at one point. It's PTO-driven winch could get it out of damn near anywhere; fond memories of dragging monster trees down the road for firewood (yes, am a former hippy child from Oregon :P). Will see if I have a pic at home. In the meantime, here's a similiar one:

If you can find 1974 bronco with the 4 speed transmission it is a god send and ya all should scoop it up. Same with a 1969-72 Chevy Blazer, sometimes I wish I had gotten the Blazer over the Jeep then I remember how much stuff is available for Jeeps and come back to my senses. A Work in Progress, my new Jeep, it's a 1986 (the last year they made a CJ) CJ-7, it has the in-line six, 5 speed transmission, and the decent Dana 44 rear axle. It came with the small lift and 33" tires, it spent it's early life running the beaches of Long Island, hence it was so full of holes, the Pope was going to bless it. We have spent some time fixing up the big holes with new metal, strengthend the area where the roll cage come to the body, got a new top, new seats, new rock sliders, new black diamond plate for the corner and sides (strengthens and protects) and fixed the linkage and added a new battery. Tuning it up was pretty easy too, since it has the Weber carburetor (something all jeep owners should get and throw the old carter carburetor as far as you can chuck it), now to work on the bushing and lift, then tires and bumpers, then hit Attica or Red Bird parks this spring! Wish I had a garage...oh and ton's of cash...

Add these girls too Girls of the IDFI'm getting old, they looks so young and deadly, I remember my mixed squad back in 97' had 2 girls and 2 guys, the guys were not about listening to the old "sarge" for a while till they kept screwing up during the exercises and the girls who listened and did what I told them passed with flying colors.

Grand Nationals were fucking overhyped garbage when they were brand new, I doubt 20+ years of being driven would improve one. Shitty mileage, Shitty performance (for what it's supposed to be), Shitty turbocharger, and shittier handling. Detrout hasn't made a car worth "collecting" since '71, or the mid 70's if all you care about is looks and don't care about performance.

I've been looking seriously at buying one of THESE.Call me an Axel Foley wanna-be. My very first car was a 1973 Karmann Ghia. It was a hardtop because I was afraid my dog would jump out. It didn't matter because he really didn't fit in it anyway. It was also one of those odd semi-automatics. I sold it after two years for more than I bought it for, even though it had a bad gearbox that desperately needed to be replaced.

I agree with the blue one. She's scary. Look at the hands and wrists. She's got less meat on her than a chicken mcnugget.

Her face is adorable and her hair is cute, and there's a hint of hips without breaking the boyish appeal. Its a matter of taste, but I think she's a winner too.

I should get back to nature, too. You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer. Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached. Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

That first lady is pretty. I think Boomer has a better tomboy look than Kara though, at least when compared in fatigues.

Meh, life itself is depressing if you think on it too much. That we continue to persevere anyway is the 'miracle of life' to me.
